I knew that being a

I knew that being a Sitka product these would be high quality, but they exceeded my expectations. I bought these pants to guide quail hunts in the Florida pines and palmettos. Not only are they great for warmer weather but so far they have yet to snag or wear near the bottom of the legs from the brush. You can’t even tell they’ve been worn. I don’t know how these would do in the grouse woods of Michigan but for me these are perfect.

I ordered the fanatic first but sent it back and got this instead because I thought this would be warmer and didn’t really like the small amount of areas that would pick up burrs on the fanatic. I actually believe the fanatic would truly be warmer. However, these are nice and fit well. I’m 5’9 and 200 lbs, I know I could get one layer underneath but wearing 2 layers might be pushing it.

Not impressed.

“Axis-Fit” is very tight mid-foot and uncomfortable. Rigid fit. I thought I could break them in but no luck. I’d say this “Axis-Fit” is a bad thing. They also stink and don’t seem to breath. I have the Gore Tex pair, and even though I’ve worn socks with them every time they stink more than my running shoes with a lot of mileage on them.

Picked up the earth color and love em! They fit great and feel good when running. Could do without the huge goretex being written on the insides of the shoe though. Will try and color match the letters out, but that’s just me. Love the shoe though.

Have only used it one

Have only used it one time in the woods but I am impressed so far . I did have to make a size exchange, I am 5'10" 205 and bought a large to start. It was a bit tight, you wouldn't' have been able to layer at all. I exchanged for an XL and it fits perfect. Love the outer material and the quietness it will bring to the stand. Overall, I think it will work well for me.

I really like these pants; comfortable and quiet. The one thing I would like to see in these and all pants restricted to this sizing scheme-waist increments of two inches (or more)- waist band cinches to adjust the waist for a better fit.

A good versatile pant, not very heavy. Well thought out pockets and vents.

Sleeves and torso quite short

Definitely disappointed that Sitka seems to run out of tall sizes and will not restock during the season when it’s needed. Forced to exchange for an xl for sleeve length and now I’m wearing a tent.

I thought the large would be sized accordingly to allow layering of other size large items underneath. Order a size up to be able to fit anything underneath.
