Traverse Jacket Reviews

Traverse Jacket most versatile early season gear

I purchased the Traverse Jacket and the quarter zip in the past and recently purchased the jacket for a friend. I love it. It is the most versatile for spring turkey and early season archery in VT.

Warm and comfortable. Small in

Warm and comfortable. Small in the armpit area is the only issue I don’t like. Would consider different jacket for that reason only if I didn’t already purchase it

Sitka Quality

Nice Jkt. But Needs a draw string of elastic in bottom to keep out wind. I wear a 2XL but prefer my jkts. loose so bought a 3XL. Perfect fit, just loose enough to layer under if I desire.

Best jacket I got in my closet

The best jacket I got in my closet can’t wait to wear it this waterfowl season.

Traverse jacket

Excellent jacket, well made, very comfortable and it looks good! I will use it as a mid layer for hunting in Northern BC and also for warmth under my leather motorcycle jacket I’m 6’2” and weigh 200 pounds and I bought an XL so I could wear long Johns and a shirt under it.

Great fit, super comfortable. Breathes

Great fit, super comfortable. Breathes well after a walk and kept the heat in. I hunt in MO and IL so we can have allot of temp changes throughout the late deer seasons.

Traverse jacket

It appears to be exactly what I wanted! Haven’t warn it yet, but appears to be light weight and should be warm.

Best money spent

This was my first ever Sitka order. I bought this for turkey season in PA for those cold early season mornings. Performed flawlessly and fit awesome! I see my whole closet making the switch to full Sitka by fall

Comfortable

Good enough to take the edge off for the early fall mornings, without adding too much bulk.

Love it

Just perfect for those chilly mornings

Superior Jacket

The jacket is warm and stops wind. Very comfortable and light weight. I have warn it in all conditions from hunting elk in the Bighorns in WY, Turkey in the Catskills NY, and deer in PA. This jacket works in all weather conditions. It ca. even handle a light sprinkle.

Favorite Sitka piece I own definitely recommend

Keeps you warm

Consistently keeps you warm into the upper 40s/upper 50s. I’ve also used this as a daily jacket and for going out as well.

I have 4 of these.

I have 4 of these. They are an awesome baselayer or stand alone. I like them better than the hoodie version.

Bought for my son and

Bought for my son and he loves it. It washes good and quick to dry.

mid weight to lightweight

This is the perfect jacket to wear during Those cool mornings turkey hunting by midday. It fits right in your pack nicely

Runs small in the arms

I ordered a 2XL as that’s my normal size. The jacket runs tight in the armpit area. The rest of the jacket is great. Great all around jacket.

Love It

Super quiet and comfortable and keeps the morning chill off.

Perfect fit and comfort

Just been able to use it for Spring Turkey chilly mornings, but love everything about it.

This jacket is very comfortable

This jacket is very comfortable and stylish. Bought bulk jackets for an event and everyone enjoyed them.

Jacket

Very nice and tough.

Comfortable, warm and quiet

Really comfortable jacket. Thumb loops are recessed/hidden but available if you want to use this for a mid layer. Large pockets as well. Definitely would buy it again

good not great

The jacket did a good job of keeping big S Dakota winds at bay during a recent turkey hunt. The fleece lining helped, too. The jacket seems well made. But to me those benefits are table stakes when it comes to top tier hunting gear. I expected more to like about the jacket. But I’m not disappointed.

Perfect

Just perfect

Good midweight Jacket

Overall this jacket is very nice especially with the covered thumb holes. I just wish the bottom was flared out a little more so it would stay below my hips when I move around
