Very surprised by how well this keeps me warm from the wind!

Been waiting for this

I've been waiting for the Stratus line to be released in the sub Alpine colorway for quite some time as it gets cold here in Indiana long before it stops being green in the trees. With a combination of a good heavy base layer, the stratus line keeps me warm down to 40° but I can still wear it to the stand when it's 55 in the middle of the day before the temperature drops without burning up.

Great jacket. Recommend wearing a base layer that helps protect against wind if it's a bit windy where you at. Another option is just to block the wind with whatever you have around you and it'll provide great cold weather performance.

Versatile Piece

It can be worn in milder temps and allows plenty of room for layering while not being to tight or bulky. Defintely a must have jacket for the tree stand

My go to jacket

This has turned out to be my go to hunting jacket and bibs for whitetail in north east Oklahoma. Super quiet and windproof. Well thought out piece of kit.

Impeccably made gear

No issues with both the jacket and bibs. Wind stopper is great. Not very insulated so make sure to layer if using in 30’s or below.

This jacket is amazing! Super lightweight but warm! Easily packs into my backpack for evening sits in the stand during the Fall. I’ve also been wearing it daily now that I’m done hunting for the year. I don’t like bulky jackets and this one is perfect! I normally wear a medium or small (big boob problems) and ordered a small, fits perfect and not too tight.

Jacket fits well and is incredibly warm especially with other system base layers. Great for cold deer hunting days in the late NC winter.

Jacket is nice could use an accessory pocket for grunt call like what the fanatic jacket has. Don't like the shoulder strap.

Silent and warm

This thing is legit. When the wind blows and you need to be quiet and warm, this is where it's at. Easily layered underneath to get into the COLD temps, this jacket is great.

Nice piece

The stratus jacket is a nice piece for your mid season or evening whitetail hunts. I gave it four stars because I’d expected it to be warmer when layered up for the late season but I found that I got chilled on those really cold and windy days.

I bought the jacket late in our archery season. Wore it through gun season and loved it. Nice and warm on them chilly starts and comfortable through the warm up part of the day.

Fits great, layers perfectly with the rest of my system. Roomy in the right spots and allows for good range of motion even with multiple layers underneath. A great addition to my clothing options. 4 stars only due to the jacket being a touch noisier than I thought it would be - but still very quiet. I'll get great use out of this for years to come.

Sitka Stratus Jacket

I wore the Sitka Stratus Jacket on my late November Wyoming elk hunt and I was extremely impressed with how warm and comfortable it was at 1 degree. Absolute must have have for late season mountain adventures!!!

Incredible jacket

Love this jacket. I had the Fanatic for years but decided to go with the new Ambient with the Stratus over top moving forward for more mobility bow hunting. I’ve had the stratus bibs for years and this jacket is just as comfortable and windproof as the bibs.
