Very versatile

I bought this hoody as a mid layer for cold outings 30’s and below. But I found myself using it in many temperature ranges because it the grid fleece keeps you warm when you need it and cool when you don’t. It also did a much better job at blocking wind than I expected. Which led me to only needing it over a long sleeve on many cold days. To me the heavy weight hoody is a piece I will never be without come fall.

This is a very warm hoodie, not for spring weather. I like it ,but put it away for next winter. I normally wear Sitka large, bought this in XL so it wouldn’t fit snug.(5,11.195lbs average guy, not much gut)

This has been the best hoody ever for out door. Been tracking some short eared owls in some pretty harsh weather. This hoodie has been a game changer for dealing with those conditions. Looking to by one for my wife now!

Fantastic Winter Layer

Out in eastern Wyoming it seems to always be windy and from the coldest late season mountain hunts to long treks across public land to get to the river on a cold December morning, this jacket has provided the additional heat needed under shell layers and even alone. The jacket does not hold up to the brutal wind extremely well, but pair it with your favorite windbreaker and you'll be all set.

I originally ordered an xl but it was way too big for me. The large fits excellent and everything about it is high quality. Zippers are smooth, stitching looks well done, and the grid fleece is plush and very warm.

Love this hoody. Perfect for a wide range of temperatures and love the Earth color. Very similar feel to the Fanatic hoody (also a fav), but without the built in facemask and pockets. I have found I don’t need these features outside of hunting application anyway. Highly recommend for everyday use.

LOVE IT!

I wear my heavyweight hoody almost daily! It’s warm, light, quiet and comfortable. I have a marsh camo one also that’s why I wanted a black one for wearing work. Hard to beat in cold weather! I didn’t give it 5 stars because the chest pocket isn’t big enough for my phone.
