Best jacket that Sitka makes

This is the best jacket that Sitka makes in all of its lineups. I get cold very easily and no matter how low temps drop, this jacket keeps me extremely warm from driving winds and chilly days in the stand. The jacket is extremely well engineered to keep your hands warm and keep your rangefinder from fogging up. If you only buy one jacket from Sitka, I highly recommend that it is this one!

I don’t know why it has the hole in the front but regardless 25 degree temps with the wind at 15-20 MPH 30’ up a tree I stayed warm.

Outstanding warmth. Did not like the diagonal zipper at first. Almost tore the sleeve out trying to put it on. Great wind stopper. Use this gear to hunt and take care of cows in the winter.

I’m 6,3 195lbs I bought this in November of the Kansas whitetail season the temperature has been getting as low as -5 here with -20 windchill and when I wear this jacket all I wear under it is a tshirt and I SWEAT in this jacket. It’s the best thing ever

extremely warm wind does not penetrate. wish I had this 40 years ago !!! you won't be disappointed. it's big thru the mid-section but it fits thru my shoulders and arms, I don't have a beer gut.....

By far my favorite piece of Sitka I’ve ever invested in. I wore this system from October archery season through late December muzzleloader season and it was the reason I was able to remain in the game during some of the harshest conditions I’ve hunted in.

Very warm, windproof and works with saddle

Finally got cold enough temps this past weekend (upper 20's) to try out my Fanatic suit. I've never been so warm in the stand! I was pleasantly surprised that it also works well with saddle hunting, I was able to make use of the kangaroo pocket with the waist strap unbuckled. I packed in the jacket and bibs, and put the bibs on before climbing. I put the jacket on about a half hour after getting set. All I wore underneath was a set of 120 merino long johns, the fanatic hoodie, and some early season pants. My only complaint would be that the set doesn't pack as well as some other options, but that's to be expected with late season gear.

Jacket is great super warm just wore it in for the end of season for the whitetail season we had below 0° temperature was -20. Windchill kept me very warm. All I had on underneath it Polartec thermal a T-shirt and didn’t feel any wind I’m 5 foot 11, 260 pounds I got the extra large plenty of room

I am very happy with this purchase. The coat is so warm that in 23 degree weather, throwing a ball for my dog, I got hot. Great hunting coat for cold weather

Better than original

I had an older model of the fanatic coat. I loved that one but the newer version in my opinion, is designed better and just improves on the old design. Can't wait to get back in the deer stand!

Fanatic Jacket

I like the layout of pockets, handwarmer pocket in the front and it's super quiet. After wearing a few times I just don't like the angled zipper instead of being normal middle location. Awkward walking to/from stand with jacket unzipped to get rid of some heat. Also there's no pocket on the left side so if the jacket is unzipped you don't have a pocket to put your hand, gloves, rangefinder, etc. on the left side.

I haven't had the opportunity to wear this out in cold weather (single digits) as I got it too late to wear during late December bow season. It seems to fit small, especially if you wear layers under the jacket. Look forward to wearing it next season.

Amazing!

This coat is everything! I did not purchase this for hunting but instead for other outdoor winter activities. Biking, walking, running, snow shoeing etc. Blocks wind, keeps me warm. It's a work horse! Sitka just keeps delivering.

Your Mother's Womb

I purchased the fanatic system (bibs and jacket) at the start of the 2023 Mississippi deer season skeptical of its true capabilities. I hunt in Northern MS where temps can dip to mid-teens later in the season. The low temps plus a stiff MS Delta wind can test a cold natured individual's patient and fortitude. The fanatic system is the equivalent of being in your Mother's womb regarding warmth and comfort!! Not joking!! I'm a cold natured person and this system has not disappointed at all!! The warmth, comfort, and dependability is unmatched and unwavering. I thoroughly enjoy the level of warmth and cold weather protection you experience without the bulk. I'm a particular, precise, and very difficult to impress person, but have been left speechless regarding descriptive qualities of the fanatic system. Job well done to Sitka and their product development. Looking forward to years of continued use and purchase additional from the Sitka line!!

Excellent system

I got test my fanatic jacket and bibs in Kansas this year for a late white tail hunt. It was excellent for the cold windy conditions that I dealt with for the last week of Kansas bow season. I highly recommend the fanatic system and the proper Sitka mid and base layers to go with it. I was comfortable my entire hunt. The fanatic jacket and allowed me to sit long and comfortably.

Beat the cold

I used the Fanatic jacket, bibs and neck gator for a late season elk hunt. The last three days were single digit highs and windy. This stuff works. I sat 2 and a half hours in the mornings and evenings. I have been hunting in these temps for 40 years and I have never been so comfortable at 4 degrees.

Very warm and extremely comfortable late season in Iowa. Late muzzleloader in Jan and stayed more than warm on a 3-4 hour sit. Could have gone much longer.

The design is great and the jacket is really warm. I would recommend buying the Neck Gaiter as it gets a little drafty near the neck without a hood attachment. The Fanatic Jacket and Bibs are amazing overall.

The way the jacket is put together is absolutely perfect. Pockets, material, and comfort is top notch. I’m 6’ 3” 210lbs and I had to get the XXL. The XL would’ve fit just fine if you didn’t wear anything under it.

Well made and unbelievably warm. I wore the Fanatic jacket and bibs this year in 30 degree weather with windy conditions. I was not even a little bit cold. I ordered a size up than normal for me to make room for layers of clothes.
