Duck oven

Fell asleep in a layout in -12° weather and woke up with a bad case of the swass, kept me warm, would recommend.

Duck oven

Warmest jacket I own I love duck hunting in it!!

Duck oven jacket

The jacket is awesome. A lot warmer than I thought it would be. I wish is had a hood though and think that is it’s only fault.

Duck Oven

Worth the money. Incredibly warm and wind resistant. Pockets where you want them, and plenty of space within them. Love it.

Great jacket!!

I bought this jacket in December of '25. It was the last one in Cabelas and my size - it was meant to be! I was waiting to wear it on a good cold day and VA provided just that. It was 14 in the morning and the wind was howling. I bought a XXL as I always buy up a size for layering ability. I wore the Core Merino 330 1/2 zip and a vest and was toasty warm and I didn't even feel the wind! Definitely recommend this jacket.

I do not have either I want to buy both

If you need a large duck oven should you go up a size on the waiting jacket or will that go over it

Warmest jacket I own.

Bought during a sales promotion in the Atlanta Sitka store. Got a large in Earth color variant to wear casually versus to hunt in. Strongly suggest that you try one on before buying, if possible. I own a lot of Sitka clothing and wear both a L and XL in jackets. Wore it in Iowa over Xmas with temps in the teens and twenties with gusting winds. Warmer than my ski jacket and heavy parka, very pleased.

Perfect

The legit warmest jacket you can own for the price. In a light haze it can keep you completely dry.

best jacket

this is hands down the best item sitka makes, always warm even in the worst conditions

The absolute warmest jacket I have ever owned!

Not really a dislike, but a recommendation. It would be great if it were completely waterproof.

Best cold weather duck hunting jacket

Bought the original Duck Oven in 2017. The new version is a serious upgrade and is hands down the best cold weather duck hunting jacket there is. Paired with a Delta Wading Jacket and you are all set. I also pair a Hudson with an Aerolite. The new duck oven LT for when it’s not as cold is just as good.

Large is just a fit.

Large is just a fit.

Best jacket

I bought this jacket in store and i worried it would be too puffy but i still bought it, I've had it over 6 months and it is definitely the warmest jacket I have and it fits really good even though I’m a big guy. I do sometimes wish it had a hoodie but I can layer it with a Carhartt hoodie and I wish it was more water proof but with Sitka you can always spend more money and layer. so overall I give it a 10/10 and I’d say all the Sitka gear is worth the money.

Best Duck Hunting Jacket Out There

This is one of the best pieces of Sitka I own. I have the reputation of getting cold easily, but not with this jacket. I was midwest waterfowling in 30 degrees and 20+ MPH winds in a brushed-in A-Frame, and I was comfortable the whole morning. I layered with a merino 120 and a quarter zip. It is best worn under your waders. In the evening, I picked up decoys in 20MPH+ gusts and freezing rain/wet snow and stayed dry —just got a little wet at my wrists—zero buyer's remorse. I never write reviews if that says anything.

This jacket is amazing it’s warm water resistant

It’s a great product warm water resistant love to where it just a over all nice jacket

Best Jacket Ever!

Recently used my new duck oven jacket for my first waterfowl hunting trip this year! So comfortable and warm. Really blocks the wind too. Couldn’t be happier!

The best jacket

Great fit, super warm

Zipper wears out

I have 3 of these over last few years Zipper wears out before the coat even comes close to showing wear Zipper sucks

Amazing jacket

Amazing jacket. I have had mine for 5 years and have had zero issues. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing Jacket

The single best piece to have for duck hunting. This jacket is so versatile and so warm for its size! Very happy with this jacket

Warm

Good coat, great range of motion. Can shoot well with this coat and does not add enough bulk to force you to use a smaller stock to still get a proper gun fit. If you are a walk in hunter it does pick a little easy on briars for a duck coat in my opinion. Warm and comfy.

Amazingly warm

Never was there a better name for an article of clothing than this jacket. I typically wear this late season under a Delta wading jacket or Hudson jacket when the temps are in the 20s or below with winds blowing 15+ mph. I’m 6’ and 210 and the XL is perfect for layering without binding in the arms when hunting.

Love this jacket! Fits good

Love this jacket! Fits good and is an excellent layer to have under my Wader pro jacket on those rainy days! This jacket is perfect for clear weather and cold days!

Duck oven jacket

Warmest jacket ever

Great jacket

Great jacket and extremely warm. A staple when it’s below freezing.

Casual to Field this is the last jacket you need

This jacket has to be the hands down the best outer layer that I have ever worn from Sitka. I have probably 10 tops from Sitka whether its for deer hunting or waterfowl this is my go to when the temps drop. I also have the Duck Oven LT when the temps aren't as cold, but come December in Iowa this is my go to outer layer/insulation combo.

Very warm

Very warm and windproof, I really like the versatility.

This jacket is awesome, i

This jacket is awesome, i use this as my insulating outer layer for my mountain and tree stand hunts. little loud for bow hunting but you can get by or throw a quiet layer over if needed. not the most packable or lightest jacket but kept me warm while glassing in 25mph winds at 10k ft in 20-30° weather. so far a really awesome jacket. sleeves are a little tight when layered but manageable. that being said i have never had a jacket keep me so comfortably warm during cold and wind.

Duck Oven

This jacket is incredibly warm and comfortable. It blocks the wind incredibly well. I now have two of these jackets, as I bought one in Large to fit snugly and layer under other jackets, and I have one in XL that I can be more comfortable in if I layer underneath it.

Hard to imagine improvement

This thing is nuts. Not bulky to wear you can’t move but is insanely warm! Compared to the equivalent of wearing 5 regular sweatshirts. Love mine

Very warm jacket… would love

Very warm jacket… would love for it to have a hood, but understand the reasoning due to layering. You won’t regret the purchase. .

Thanks for the great service.

Nicest jacket ever! I use it everyday and love the fit and comfort.

Best Jackets Ever

No Regrets would buy 100 more times

Nice jacket

Nice jacket

Duck oven

Very warm jacket great to go under waders

Duck oven

Really good jacket. Keeps you really warm.

Jacket design is great, fits

Jacket design is great, fits well and very warm! I especially like the fleece lined chest pockets. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the right cuff seam failed below the thumb hole after a few days of only wearing it between my truck and the shop. Fortunately Sitka offers an excellent repairs service!

Very comfortable
