Great all around jacket.

I have 2, 1 camo for hunting and the brown for everyday wear. Jacket is super warm and looks great around town. Its a must have jacket.

I love my duck oven jacket. It is so warm fits perfect. It is my winter goto jacket for everyday use. Does get hot when temps warm up.

Old weather gear

I wore a friends duck oven last year and knew I needed a new coat for cold weather. My current jacket of 20 plus years wasn’t cutting it. I have a wader jacket that fits over top of the duck oven for added protection against rain.

Hands down, best cold weather hunting jacket I own. Perfect for those cold days when you’re in the woods sitting for extended periods. Very comfortable. The pockets are lined and zipped to prevent loosing your gear.

Duck Oven Jacket

It's the warmest coat I own. I hunted in Nebraska with temperatures well below zero in January. I was so impressed I purchased one for my grandson. 5 star.

Good warm coat, less durable than expected

I have really enjoyed this jacket but I already have a small hole after a few months. It is a bit puffier and is slightly less warm than the older camo version I still have as well. Pro or con, depends the application. Fits well and zippers function smoothly.

The best jacket ever

This jacket is the best purchase I have ever made. I love this. It is perfect in the cold and I have yet to be cold wearing it. Even out on the river in the winter I am super warm with this jacket on. 100/10 if you can you should best purchase ever!

I was very surprised at how comfortable and warm the jacket was.

I fell through some ice into a beaver slide this winter, water was in my waders but my upper body NEVER got cold and I continued my hunt and I base it solely on this coat and proper layering. Will buy again.

Great Cold Weather Jacket

I have gotten to use it for a season and it did its job. Didn’t get to test it out in extreme weather but in 20 degree weather I didn’t have to layer with it and I stayed very warm.

Great jacket!!

I bought this jacket in December of '25. It was the last one in Cabelas and my size - it was meant to be! I was waiting to wear it on a good cold day and VA provided just that. It was 14 in the morning and the wind was howling. I bought a XXL as I always buy up a size for layering ability. I wore the Core Merino 330 1/2 zip and a vest and was toasty warm and I didn't even feel the wind! Definitely recommend this jacket.

Warmest jacket I own.

Bought during a sales promotion in the Atlanta Sitka store. Got a large in Earth color variant to wear casually versus to hunt in. Strongly suggest that you try one on before buying, if possible. I own a lot of Sitka clothing and wear both a L and XL in jackets. Wore it in Iowa over Xmas with temps in the teens and twenties with gusting winds. Warmer than my ski jacket and heavy parka, very pleased.

Not really a dislike, but a recommendation. It would be great if it were completely waterproof.

Best cold weather duck hunting jacket

Bought the original Duck Oven in 2017. The new version is a serious upgrade and is hands down the best cold weather duck hunting jacket there is. Paired with a Delta Wading Jacket and you are all set. I also pair a Hudson with an Aerolite. The new duck oven LT for when it’s not as cold is just as good.
