I waited too long to add this to the gear quiver. Everyone who ever said "you need a Core Light Weight Hoody in you arsenal" were 100% right. Its just an awesome start to any system in any condition.

Lightweight and breathes well. Thumbloops are nice too. I wear an XL in all Sitka tops and it fits me perfect.

Great piece but the material snags easily leaving a quick hole. Not the end of the world but could be more robust.

Very lightweight

When they say lightweight they mean it. Thickness is along the lines of a workout shirt. The silky thin material. Wind cuts right thru it. Maybe it works well as a base layer but in no way is this shirt going to keep u warm or block the wind.

My core lightweight hoody saw a few days of traveling including walking around an airport. It was great for the different temperatures. I did find, however, any material that rubbed against anything got pulled out and did not resist abrasion at all.

The hoody fits very well and I like the light weight

All day and night

So many use cases for this piece. Going out on a sunny day and using it to protect my pale skin from sunburns? Check. Sleeping at night? Check. Hunting on hot days? Check. I have this piece in 6 different colors and use all of them.

Sitka at its best

I just wore this hoody for the first time today. I was traversing along a stream and got stuck on some branches. I was certain I was going to have a hole or pulled some strands on the hoody but I had nothing which is super cool. The fabric is super light and breathes well. The mask and hood are perfect additions. The size is tough. I usually wear a medium in base layers and a large in tops for Sitka. The large just fits but I think I’ll size up to an XL to have a bit more room in the next one I purchase.

I love the lightweight hoodie. It’s very comfortable and fits well. I’ve been wearing it a lot. It’s great in the woods or just going out for the night.

Fits a little loose in the arms compared to the Fanatic jacket that I have. That could be because of the different material but just a note. Breathes phenomenally.

I wasn't sure about such a lightweight base layer, but man this thing is awesome! It has become my go to. I almost always used this as the beginning of my layering. Super comfy, and I love the built-in face mask.

Best Product Sitka Makes (Ambient is a close second)

I own 3 of these shirts and have begun to buy them for family memembers (but only the ones that tilt up my seat cushion in the tree stand when they climb down) I live and hunt in Florida. Bow season is brutal. So here's game: condition this Sitka Lightweight Hoodie with Permithrin, pull that snug hood on, use the face mask, and you are golden. Daily practices are bearable. Sits are far more enjoyable. They dry quickly and breathe like no other fabric made. Manage stink well. I also flyfish, boat, ski and hike in these shirts. All season clothing means I never feel guity about spending the money. I am 5'11 193 lbs and wear a large. It's snug but that is acceptable for bow and they strech. Sika, keep rolling out colors and I will keep buying them.
