Not an outer layer. I have one riddled with snags, pils, burns, and stains. Pilling will even happen if you have straps on top of it so beware of that if you care how pretty it looks. Essential piece of gear that dumps excess heat and moisture and bundles up nice when you need it. Merino is good too but this allows for faster mitigation of heat.

Perfect lightweight for all seasons

This is great for cool spring as an outer layer. Or even in the dead of winter as an underlayer. I find myself wearing it 2-3 days a week either out and about or just slumming around the house.

Knew it ran a little small for my build. So I ordered a size up and it fit perfect.

Awesome technology is integrated into the garment. The one and only negative feedback is the sizing runs big. It works for me right now but I can see a lot of returns from your size chart. It is comfortable, med weight, warm. If looking would ever make the decision easier, it will not. Just buy it

Very comfortable,definitely has the Sitka quality although I think you would have to be careful in the brush I have a few snags but we will see how it holds up.

Now I get it. Great base layer. Wouldn’t pay $130 for this, but it’s an excellent layer. Perfect for skiing, the mask is right where you need it. If I can find another one for half off, I’ll probably get it.

Like all things Sitka it’s made of quality material. I use it under my fanatic to absorb sweat. The face mask is great to block the wind and cover the face. It an essential piece I’m hunting bag.

This was my first and

This was my first and last sitka purchase ever. I bought this item in hopes use as a delicate base layer while hunting the wet Florida swaps to dry Florida pine woods. After the first use under under multiple layers of shirts/ jackets threads where coming undone and pulling out. Washed as instructed before the next day when I am done after the second use it looks like I used a cheese grater over the material. Extremely disappointed I had such high hopes for this company so do not expect a penny from me again

Very lightweight

This is the first piece I wear with anything that I turkey hunt with. I love the built-in mask and most of the days when it gets hot I’m down to this and just my traverse pants.

Great base layer

I wore this under my equinox hoodie as a first base layer during spring turkey season. Did great wicking sweat away when it warmed up during the day. On my walk back it’s all I had on and felt very comfortable. The hoodie was a plus just in case I bumped a turkey on the way out.

A Necessity

You need a core lightweight hoody. Its a great baselayer and provides great concealment. It also keeps you cool when its hot out.

The lightweight core hoodie is super versatile piece of gear. Layers great with other pieces, has a built in face-mask and drys fast. The addition of more solid colors is awesome.

the hood is a little undersized which makes the shirt not fit great. I get that the hood is intended to fit snug but it's just too small for the shirt so when it's up it's pulling the neck of the shirt upward and kind of creates this uncomfortable tight throat. not the end of the world but I would not purchase this product again and feel that for the cost this design should be flawless

This is an awesome piece

This is an awesome piece of gear. It works early season, all the way to late hunts. Its my go to base layer when hiking and moving are the days plans. I layer this with a mountain jacket down to about 30 degrees, and no complaints. Archery elk, its all you need for a day chasing bugles.

Top notch lightweight piece.

I'm 6 ft., 230 lbs. and XXL fit me well. Very very comfortable. Slick looking and feeling. A great baselayer piece, but I also love wearing it as a stand alone hoody on mildy cool, overcast, breezy days. It serves multiple purposes so I'll be buying a few more of them. A bonus: my wife told me more than once how sexy it looks on me. I may have to wear it to bed. It's a win/win 😃.

This hoodie is amazing for everything from the gym to backcountry hunts and around the house daily! One of my favorite pieces from Sitka gear! I own 2 and will be buying more in the future when on sale! Size medium fits me perfectly like it’s custom tailored to my body!
