SITKA Gear Reviews

Best hunting pants I’ve purchased.

Best hunting pants I’ve purchased. Great for all weather. They are durable. They dry very quickly and work perfect with a light layer underneath. Hunt here in Alaska on the north slope for caribou. And never stayed wet and was not cold. Movement was great in them. I’m a 32 and had to get these in a 34. So they do run a little tight

Works great

Great lightweight jacket used as a mid layer and outer layer

Pack is bomber. Packed my gear for a two night 7 mile backpacking trip and had plenty of room for 4 more nights if needed. Hauled a 200 lb muley off the mountain with it a few days ago and the way the pack rode on my hips and shoulders with 80+ lbs of meat plus the head and cape was better than any pack I’ve worn. Bomber!

Beanie

Great product stays dry in the rain

Awesome Boots for my area

I ordered these in Optifade Elevated, as I have previous gear in that pattern and for my area, it's the ticket for white tail. Very comfortable, room for insulating socks and tucking pants in,. I have previously had "muck boots" in LA Cross, Thorogood, and Muck Brand, and can say these are as comfortable as my Thorogoods. They can be worn all day with no discomfort.

Warm and comfortable, runs big

Muck boots

Awesome boot. . comfortable and light weight!!!

Ambient is undefeated

I used the original pullover Ambient 100 for 3 seasons and loved it. Probably my most used mid-layer ever. Finally picked up the full-zip and it’s every bit as quality as the pullover. The warmth to weight ratio AND breathability is unmatched compared to any other mid-layer. Pick up the Ambient 200 to extend your season even further. Ambient is in a league of its own. I’m 6’, 185-195lb, broad shoulders so I wear an XL. Large in Sitka vests, but anything that has sleeves I need an XL.

Storm front pant button

Cuff button came off but other than that has help up great and kept me dry.

Love it

Love it

Good stuff!

Wearing it right now over a poly pro shirt. Been wearing it all week in the elk woods. Jacket is money.

Rover Gore-tex

Really comfortable, I like the tighter ankle fit compared to similar boots from other brands. Let’s see how they hold up…

Nice and light weight. Very

Nice and light weight. Very comfortable . Looking forward to testing them in wet conditions.

Solid choice

Comfortable and good looking

Boots Run Small

Ordered size 12 and they were extremely tight. Decided to go with KEEL brand and they actually fit my foot. Make an option for a wide foot.

Lite weight

Works as advertised. Dove hunted allday in 85 degree weather and stay cool.

Too small

I need to return them. They are too small

Great shoe

Great shoe

No more mosquitoes

Real similar fit to my other lightweight hoodie, but without all the bites on your shoulders

Badass

Look and fit great, if the insect repellant holds up these might be my new early season favorite

Excellent Shoe just with a wide version

Love the shoe, only request would be a wide version as I had to size up to get the fit I wanted.

Alpha hoodie

Lightweight and is great for the cooler temps

Love the built in face/ head cover.

Excited to have this for bear hunting in Northern WI. It is still fairly warm climate and heavy mosquitoes. This should help protect me from the bugs and keep them off my head

Awesome material

Love how the material feels and breaths. It stretches and moves with you too

Great pack for on the go

Great for opening day dove

Great for opening day dove season

Perfect

Great vest. Great fit, right weight for layering.

Great waders

Very well designed waders, the clip adjustment system on the shoulder straps is solid and will not slip. The pockets are well laid out. The inseam and height match others waders. The waist is just a little smaller. For winter when wearing more layers going up one size might be good.

Solid sweatshirt. Scored it on

Solid sweatshirt. Scored it on sale, which made the price much more appropriate for a non-technical garment. Let's face it, you're kinda just paying for the branding - nothing special going on with this piece from Sitka.

Seems to be a great

Seems to be a great outer layer. Will test on mule deer hunt later this fall.

Great cold gear

Great for keeping the cold out when it gets really chilly

Great product

Have three of these, one of the most useful pieces of gear.

Great bag for short trips

Perfect size for carry on

Early season pant

Overall not bad, only complaint is the knee pads sit a little low compared to my knees. I’m normally a 36x32 and the pants without the knee pads fit fine. Haven’t worn them hunting yet but they should do well for early archery.
