Nice pants

Bought these for my bougee girlfriend. She's a nutritionist dresses like million dollars every day. I got her these try hunt little with me she absolutely loves them. They do run little small though really wish they didn't quit making them in mens.

I wanted to love these

The general fit and fabric is great on these, but not having a zipper wasitband is a huge bummer and means I returned these. Having muscular legs and a fit torso requires more space pulling pants on, which isn't happening with a fized waistband like this, esp since it doesn't have much give. Year over year I continue to be disappointed in Sitka's offering for women. There are currently 38 mens pants options available and only 11 for women. Cmon, Sitka - do you not believe in or value women? Your product offering certainly says that.

Great early season archery pant

This is a nice option for warm early season hunting when you still want protection from the elements and brush. The fabric is perfect. The pull on style is not ideal but does make for a very comfortable low profile waist. I can just barely get these over my butt, but once they are on they fit well.

Good pants

Pants fit and feel great. One thing I like is that they are breathable and also are not too loud when you walk. . . I have had this issue with other brands. My only negative is they are very very snug getting over my hips/butt, but once they are on they fit great.

Not good for muscular legs

Unfortunately I didn’t realize that these don’t have a zipper before I ordered them, and the waist isn’t very elastic. So if you have muscular thighs or butt, you’re going to have a hard time getting these on.

Great fit!

Finally a pair of pants that fit me properly and so super comfy. I’m very thin and have a tough time finding pants that aren’t baggy in the crotch and thigh area. These are perfect, could be a bit longer though.

Cheap Construction

I had these pants for about two years. I work in the outdoor environment, lots of movement, stretching, etc. These pants are not rated for daily summer wear and extensive hiking. If you're just wearing them a few hours at a time, couple times a year, they'll be fine. But for the price point, these aren't high quality nor durable. The elastic loses it's stretch quickly with minimal strain on the belt. The built in belt clasp broke making the belt unusable, I contacted repairs and they are unable to send a new clasp and I have to wait a month minimum for them to put a new one on. The seams do not handle squatting well. I got a size up because I knew I was going to need more forgiveness in the lesser forgiving areas, but it still cuts into the body and you can see where they could have used a nylon thread for a touch more give.

Dont like the fit or fabric

The fit seems off to me. Tighter around the waist, lower rise but bigger through the hips. The fabric seems like it would rip easily.

My Daughter loves these pants

Supper light weight. Great for CA A zone early hunts. Very flexible and like the built in belt. Sizing is a little different with the elastic waist. You get a wider size range. I got her a size bigger to grow into but with the elastic they fit fine

Extremely hard to put on and take off

These pants are extremely hard to put on and take off because it doesn't have a button & zipper, it's supposed to be elastic, but they're not elastic enough around the waist. It's impossible to fit my entire hip through the waist area without the pants making popping sounds, and I think eventually I will rip them. This is one of three options women have for the Subalpine color. I don't know why they don't make Subalpine in the Cadence pants. I wish Sitka provided more options for women.

Women’s Ascent Pant

Very durable and well made as all Sitka gear is, sizing fit my lady perfect. Overall a great lightweight but tough pair of pants. If you’re looking for warmth I’d wear a base layer underneath but for medium to hot weather these are amazing!

I’m normally a 26 got these in 25 and they are fitted but fit perfectly. They don’t grow as the day goes on and I love the belt that’s attached.

Gotta lose the flared leg

I wanted to get the women's lightweight pants because I often find men's waistline fit me a little strange. The waistline on these is very comfortable and flattering on my body type but the flared leg at the bottom is neither flattering or functional. I was skeptical when I tried them on and saw how wide they were at the bottom but decided to give them a try before I knocked them. Turns out in brush and over staubs they are bound to get ripped and very likely to trip you up. I do like the color and material but prefer thr men's traverse pants I also like for the pocket configuration and the more straight leg fit.

Great fit, it’s hard to find women’s pants that are a good quality and fit. Love the equinox for women’s but they are discontinued.

Fantastic pants for warm/hot weather adventures and hunting.

These are pretty comfortable but

These are pretty comfortable but feel more like joggers-ish if that makes sense. I'm usually a 28 but ordered a 29 and glad I did. I have wider hips and behind. I don't think I could have wore the smaller size comfortably. I am 5'3 and 135lbs.

Great pants

Wore these out for opening day turkey in Wisconsin. Kept me dry and free of burrs. Got a bird too so I must have blended in!

Great quality pants, awkward fit. There seems to be an inner string or seem that limits the stretch around the waist making them very tight to get on.

True so size and comfy!

Love these - but these are not like the last model!

Fit feels similar to a yoga pant. Form fitting and cute, which is my thing, but might not be everyone’s thing. as far as performance goes, I slid down a rocky little hill and pants held up great, no holes or snags. Lots of flex and really, truly comfortable. The little belt thing doesn’t seem necessary and it is plenty snug up top due to the style. Definitely made for warmer weather (I live in Hawaii so it’s perfect for our daytime heat), but it does get a little chilly in the mornings on our mountain (40-45 degrees) so I wear a legging base layer and was just fine. I do wish there was an easier pocket to access on the side, but the ones with a zipper work fine I suppose, just a little cumbersome. Relatively quiet pant without much “swish”. This pant is way different from the last Ascent model, so if you’re hoping to find the same, this is not it. I was not expecting what arrived, but I’m honestly not mad about it. I give 4 stars based off of my personal opinion and my personal preferences, but do not believe this will be every ladies cup of tea.

Great, but would like belt loops

Overall a great early season hunting pant, but I do however wish they had belt loops. There is a built in stretchy clasp that you can tighten, but as they begin to stretch an actual belt is needed.

Overall a great pair of pants for hiking or riding. A little on the thin side, but good for summer

Baggy with wear /light weight

I really wanted to love these pants, but once you wear them the get super baggy and ride up really bad. These are kind of a jogger material and they just give a camel toe when you walk. Plus they ripped after the first day wearing them. On the bright side they were pretty moisture wicking and very lightweight, and were perfect for end of summer/ early fall hunts!
