Awesome knee boots for cold weather

Received these just before leaving for Alaska last week. They did everything that I was expecting of them. Extremely comfortable. Amazingly warm. And…no swamp feet!

Best boot I own

Before I purchased I read all the Facebook post looking at reviews and mostly the negative comments about how there is no way these boots are worth $399. As usual these comments were mainly coming from people that had never seen, much less worn the boot. I’m here to tell you these boots are worth every bit of what you pay. I wore them for 10 hours one day with wool socks mainly to see if my feet would sweat or not. The morning temp started at 36°F and the day ended at 47°F. When I removed my boots my socks and feet were powder house dry. The boots are light and very comfortable to wear. I personally wear a size 11 in most boots and shoes so that’s the size I ordered here and they fit true to size. Excellent product.

Boots are well made but the ankle is too tight making the boot difficult to put on and remove.

Great fit, stellar construction, can't wait for hunting season with these really light weight and great fitting boots. Will replace the heavy rubber boots I had before!

Worth the price tag

These boots are awesome. I walked 8 miles in them and my feet did not hurt at all. Super pleased with the purchaseb

I wear a 10 1/2

I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and I went up a size to the 11 which was recommended and I had to buy inserts to help take up some room, which still isn’t comfortable. The size 10 boot I tried on at a local Sitka dealer was too tight on my foot. So I wish Sitka had made half sizes

The Pinnacle of Hunting Boots

I don't typically leave reviews, however, after wearing these boots in my layout blind hunting geese, grooming xc ski trails on the ATV, Ice Fishing, Working around the house in knee deep snow, i have to say these are the absolute most comfortable, lightest, breathable boots i have ever had on my feet. If and when these wear out i will definitely be buying another set, i hope they last for years to come.

Nice Boot

Comfortable and an overall nice boot. Been wearing them a lot in marshy/wet areas and feet has stayed dry.

Nice looking boot and fit true to size. Downfall is no adjustment for your calf so with that being said if you have bigger calf’s they are very tight and uncomfortable. Sent back the next day.

Big miss…for me

I gave this a three star because of the calf fitment. It’s not the boots fault but I have one calf that is much larger than the other and it’s really hard for me to find boots that fit. I really wish these had some sort of gusseted zipper or Buckle down option to where I can open up one boot more than the other. If I had that I would have given it a four star but only because nothing is perfect so therefore I rarely give anything a five star. But these boots are so awesome and fit so great in the foot bed along with the materials being so nice that I possibly would have given it a five star if it had some type of zipper waterproof gusset on the side or back like the gum leaf boots. I guess I will have to be forced to return these

Best boots EVER!!

Everything I ever needed in a boot to keep me warm, light and dry. Very comfortable and light. Great boot.

GRX BOOTS

Bought these boots as soon as they were available. I’ve been using them all snow goose conservation season and they have disappointed. They are comfortable, warm, dry, and extremely light weight. It’s amazing how nice it is to walk around in dry warm boots that don’t weigh so much. I really didn’t need a new pair of boots when I bought them, but I am extremely happy I did! I highly recommend them.

The boots I've been waiting for

I'm a serious boots collector and Dunlop ambassador. Was going to buy the Uul from Zamberlan for late Deer season but not anymore. Those Ventlite are something else. I got around 100 hours in them as of now and those are perfect. Tested them from -20c to 20c. A bit warm around the 15c mark but the fact that they are goretex-lined makes you feet not stay sweaty. No more cold toes in those boots, Primaloft is so good. FYI, invest in a boot dryer so your feet feel fresh everytime

Good boots

The boots are comfortable, but are more loose on my feet than usual size 11. I’ve worn them scouting and shooting my bow several times in snow, mud, and water, no leaks or other issues. I’m pleased with them, but would like a tighter fit, size 10 would be too short.

Big (normal?) calves, big problems.

They look like a great boot, but I could barely get them over my calves. Certainly wouldn't be able to get them on if I had long johns on. Hope version two comes out soon with an adjuster on them.

worst boots I've ever purchased

worst pair of boots that I have ever bought, purchased them for a hog hunt, the temperature the first night was 26 degrees, my feet froze. And I also had the Sitka heavy weigh socks on. the second night the temperature was 34 degrees, and my feet got cold again. I would not recommend purchasing these boots!

VentLite GTX boot review

This boot is a fantastic addition to daily kit for dog training and water fowl hunting. Much lighter than traditional knee boots and very breathable.

Fit perfect, a little taller than muck boots, not a lot maybe 2 inches. feel great, great quality.

Really like the gtx boots , fit true to size, and light weight. There perfect for hunting in South Georgia where We have mild winters mostly.

super light and comfy

Disclaimer: I've only had these for a few weeks. But, in that time they've had plenty of use. They slip on easily without even needing to touch the boot with your hand. Taking them off is also easy with the built in boot jack. Despite the ease of putting on and removing, they don't slip around when walking, like you'd expect. They are extremely light weight compared to a conventional rubber or neoprene boot. The traction is surprisingly great; wore around in icy conditions on concrete incline without slippage. They're much taller than a typical boot, which I love. They are warm when you want warm, and neutral temp when you're out of the cold (e. g. walking around shopping at Wal-Mart. They seem to breathe out the sweat very well. I cannot yet attest to the water proofedness during submerging. I highly recommend these boots.

No calf ajustement

Great boot, well constructed, no adjustment for large calves. So I can't use it. I can't buy it

not good Sitka is a name I trusted

the boots did not preform as advertised my feet got cool in them at 26 degree weather with wear the new socks went back the next nigth it was 34 degrees and was wears hollow alpaca socks same very disappoint in the boots you should have did more testing before sending to market I have bought 3 pair of these boots me and my son both got cold feet both nigth.

Loving Life

The boots felt awesome right off and the more I wear them the more they are becoming my favs. I hunt rugged terrain from south Alabama to the mountains of Montana and can’t wait to put these babies thru the trials. Thanks for another Great product!!!!!

Very Happy

I am a big Sitka fan. I have been looking for a better rubber boot for years. These fit the bill so far. I have not had them in the brutal cold yet but they have proven to be very comfortable and feel great. They fit really well and your feet stay put. Long hikes to and from the stand should not be a problem.

Innovative boots

These boots are very comfortable, waterproof, and well built. I've never been a rubber boot fan, but these are great. They have great traction with the Vibram sole and the inserts to protect my heals when hiking, creek walking, and chores around the house. My feet don't sweat do to the Gortex liner. Paired with some Sitka socks and you have a great combo. They slide into my climber base nicely. They are easy on and off. The Cover camo looks great. They are wide at the calf area to tuck your jeans or camo pants into. I wear size 12 in Danner and Irish Setter boots and my 12 Sitka boots fit perfect. I'll be buying them in Optifade and probably another solid color eventually.

I've had several pairs of boots in my life, and my most recent non-Sitka pair is really nice but stiff around the ankle -- I consistently get ankle fatigue and eventually foot pain from it. Not even a consideration with Sitka's boots: extremely comfortable while clearly remaining warm and dry. Really nice.

Sitka always has quality products, but this time my purchase was even better than expected. The boots are super comfortable, easy to slip on and off. Performs as advertised.

Homerun for your feet!!

These boots are comfortable and not sloppy on my feet like some rubber boots can be. They are comfortable and not to tight but provide the stability needed when ascending and descending trees. They will get you where you need to go and not leave you with wet feet. The temperature regulation is insane. If you love rubber boots, take it to the next level. Sitka has scored a homerun here.

Next level boots

These boots were awesome. I hunted out of them for 10 days in Northern B. C. and nothing but great things to say. Not only were they 1. 5"-2" taller than my old winter gumboots, they were also much lighter. Insulation kept my toes super warm in freezing temps. Fit true to size when wearing thick socks

Never expected!

Bought the boots on Feb 1st took them to North Dakota coyote hunting in 20mph winds and -13° and I decided to wear regular cotton socks to see if my feet got cold. Never once got cold or sweated to make them cold. We'll worth the $$$ for all occasions. Highly recommend!

Insane traction even when the terrain gets greasy
