Aawesome Hoodie

Once again, Sitka does it again (and again). High quality merchadise with style.

Perfect for fall hunts

Lightweight but still warm enough for cooler fall days, it is as versatile as the temperatures can be during fall hunting seasons. Water repellency is excellent and has kept me dry through unexpected heavy rains. Only complaint is the face mask seems a little small/tight and makes the hood feel restrictive.

Excellent Hoodie

I buy my jackets & Hoodies one size larger than I wear regular clothes. As a woman, I like to have the extra room for layers if needed to adjust to hunting conditions. These by far run true to size. Buy bigger if you want that little bit of extra room. You can add more layers, but you can't do the opposite if need be.

True to Size, Excellent fit

I am improving my waterfowl gear and wanted something that work great for mild to cold conditions. Both as a midlayer and outer layer. The traverse hoodie is where it's at. It is true to size and I wanted it to be that way. I'm 6'3" and it's perfect. A little snug in the armpits, but it's brand new and I haven't had it through a wash yet.

Exactly the hoodie I was looking for!!

I have looked high and low for a hoodie that works for me and now my search is over. The fit is perfect. I am 5’ 10” 155 pounds an I ordered an XL. I use this as a mid layer and with layers underneath it fits perfectly. I love the built in face mask that is there in the blink of an eye and love the hand loops for when I am putting in a heavy layer. Love the zipper pocket and the 1/4 zip. Like I said the perfect hoodie. Keep up the good work.

Definitely not a waterfowl piece

This might work fine for sitting in a treestand, but it's not a waterfowl piece. The gradient hoody was perfect for that. I get that Sitka is trying to streamline their lineup to decrease overhead and increase profit, but they're streamlining themselves out of making good products. What is good for whitetails isn't going to be good for ducks. I started buying Sitka because of the products that were well thought out for the particular hunt they were made for. As someone who does something related to waterfowl hunting every day of the year, I appreciated the lineup Sitka once had. Now everything is just generic camo clothes that aren't any better than what everyone else sells for much cheaper.

The craftsmanship of the garment is great ,however the current traverse hoodie that I purchased seems to be made of a lighter material compared to my earlier made traverses hoodie of couple of years ago
