Great Jacket

I was skeptical when I got this jacket in the mail. It was very thin compared to my other jackets and I thought there was no way this would keep me warm. These have kept me warm, with proper layering, in the low 20s with moderate wind.

Great fit, great warmth, perfect fit, and overall a fantastic hunting jacket. I sized up to an xl so he could layer underneath and it was perfect.

Wind Killer

If the wind is a problem for you staying warm get this jacket. I’ve started a morning sit at 24* F with a 10 mph north wind and stayed warm with a single base layer underneath. I do wish they had a better description of what all the little features of the jacket. There are some little loops sewed in the jacket I have know idea what their purpose is. I did order the XL so if the need for an additional layer was needed that wouldn’t be a problem.

Jacket is a great mid

Jacket is a great mid season set. But it is very noisy on those quite mornings to point it’s very hard to draw with out being heard if deer are close.

Surprisingly great

First off, I've been very skeptical about the whole Sitka brand. While I still believe it is over priced, it is a very good product. My experience when trying any of their coats on in the store I felt they ran rather short. I'm 6'3" tall. If you have a long torso like me make sure you get a tall. Even that's not overly long. I pair this jacket with the heavyweight-hoody and keeps me warm. Now I've been mainly upland hunting, but we were out in some 40mph winds and nothing came through. Would recommend at a sale price.

Versatile

I often add the sizing asterik* for sitka for anyone tall and thin, so choose wisely! When a large tall/long is available, I go for it every time. The stratus jacket is super quiet and a great versatile outer layer for whitetail hunting. I can layer two thing beneath it in the arms and three layers in the torso. Clean, basic design is functional. Pro tip: size up in the Fanatic Vest and wear it over top for near full season versatility.

This jacket is a must have!!

This jacket is light weight and blocks wind. I have even sat in the rain in Indiana in it all day without getting wet! I love it so much, every hunter on my Christmas list is getting one!!

Totally love the jacket. Perfect weight and can be worn in both cool and cold climates. It is the only jacket that I take with me on hunting trips now. Just bought one for each of my sons.

The jacket is soft, quiet, comfortable, and a good piece as a stand-alone jacket in cooler temperatures or as an outer layer in colder weather.

Very versitile

Great versatile jacket that can get you from 30-60. I love this thing, my only addition would be pit zips; though the lack of them may help with wind stopping and heat retention. Crazy soft/comfortable and great build quality.
