Rover GORE-TEX Reviews

Nice features and great construction.

Nice features and great construction. However, overall the boot is way to narrow and getting your foot into the boot is an arduous task.

Highly recommended

I love the Rover Gore Tex boots. They were a gift for my husband who is a charter boat captain. He can’t stop talking about! Loves the fit, support. Breathable and stay dry.

Great Boots!

Great boat shoe. Great camping. Fit just like a tennis shoe. Much lighter than others I’ve worn. Best slip on boot

Boat shoe

Excellent water proof shoe, great on the deck of my boat. Dosen't leave black marks!!

The only boot that keeps my feet completely dry

I’ve tried almost every waterproof fishing boot. This is the only boot that has kept my feet dry completely. The difference of these boots are that they are breathable and waterproof. So far after a few months they are holding up to the saltwater as well.

Built for bass fisherman

The shoes fit well, I did have to put my own custom insoles in them for them to be comfortable but I expected that. They are waterproof and lightweight which is really nice. My only complaint, if you do anything other than bass fish where you might get slime, blood or guts on these shoes they are almost impossible to clean. The fish smell really stays with them which sucks. I was hoping they would be easier to rinse off and keep clean being that they are waterproof.

Very nice

The Rovers fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Also made with high quality products and look good.

Great Boots!

Some of my top boots in the closet- light and comfortable and great for just about anything

Absolute game changer for industry professionals

I am a full time Captain on Lake Erie, and have been searching for a pair of boots to replace my rubber deck boots. These boots check every necessary box with ease. Comfortable, dry, and keep my feet from sweating like traditional deck boots. 10/10….

River goretex

Great fit. Comfortable. Work well. Look good. Durable. Would buy again and recommend

Didn't hold up like I thought they would.

I bought these to wear for forestry use. I wore them this spring in the log yard scaling logs and in the woods marking timber. They fit great and are incredibly comfortable. The downside is that they were only waterproof for about two, maybe three weeks and then they soaked through as soon I stepped into a few inches of water. Maybe I just got a pair of lemons. I will probably give them one more shot before moving onto another brand.

These shoes look great and

These shoes look great and are incredibly comfortable. I have been wearing them for a few days, and they have performed well so far. I am very satisfied with the quality.

Rover Gore Tex

Shoes are great for breathability, but waterproof and light. Hard to put on as the ankle is very tight.

Great boots

Great boots. To work in, slip on around the house. All around perfect shoe.

Boots

Great! Love all Sitka!

These boots continue to fail

These boots continue to fail after a month

Nothing but positive thoughts

These have easily become the new hit everyday shoe for the men in my family. Replacing twisted-x ankle boots and xtra tuff boots!!

Great for evey day. Very

Great for evey day. Very comfortable and dutrable. .

I will be returning the

I will be returning the boots as they are very difficult to get on and once on are very uncomfortable

You Got To Try These Boots

Great Boots

I purchased the Rover Gore-Tex

I purchased the Rover Gore-Tex to have something to keep my feet dry around Hunting camp after wearing boots all day. Started wearing them around town on cool rainy days. They Fit great and look good.

Nice/But weird fit

The material is amazing. Foot doesn't constantly sweat like other brands with this style ankle boot. But I couldn't get my foot through the opening. Had to stretch out with Brake caliper expander. I don't have a super wide foot. I think after wearing them or awhile I'll give at least 4 stars

Rover Boot review

I bought these for use on our boat and fishing. They are a bit of a disappointment. For the price I did expect them to be a bit mor comfortable. There is little to no arch support. I normally wear an eleven and a half these are elevens and are a little loose front to back and tight in the toe box

Rovers

Very comfortable and very well made

Comfortable and supportive

I find the shoes very comfortable. They did not need any break in time, as they were comfortable from the first wearing. I even forgot about them as I was wearing them. They are also supportive around the ankles. I have struggled the first few times to put them on, but I have a long shoe horn and am getting used to them. Once they are broken in, I think they will slide on easier.

Light weight boot

I like the light weight of the boot and much more comfortable than ultra tuffs. I know the Sitka brand and I know the quality is top notch. Love them and will be ordering more for work/landscaping. These I have are my go to casual wear.

To narrow, need a "wide".

To narrow, Sitka does not offer the boot in "wide".

Great product

Comfortable fit, great value

Love them

Love them

These are my second pair

These are my second pair of Rovers only because leather wasn’t a good choice as a professional retriever trainer. The leather Rover still held up MONTHS longer than any other deck boot brand I’ve been through in my years of training dogs. And to say I put a boot to the test is an understatement!

Great shoe

I highly recommend this shoe. It’s light weight and something different than the huks or other fishing shoe brands. Would recommend.

High Quality Shoe but missed the mark

Build seems high quality but the fit is off. As someone who wears waterproof boots everyday for work I could not work in these shoes. They look the part and shed the water but are too tight and uncomfortable on my feet.

Boot

Did not fit well

Yup

Fits snug, won’t fall off. All day comfort

Great shoes

Great shoes

Amazing product!

First time I used them was on Saginaw bay. Every day was either wet, snow or sleet. Fished them in 32 degree weather and my feet stayed comfortable. Great product, highly recommend!

Rover Goretex

Awesome waterproof boat shoe. Very comfortable and not bad looking at all. Typical of Sitka gear

Awesome Kicks!!!!

Bought these for casual wear, escpecially on wet days, and really like the fit and finish on these shoes. I personally wouldn't wear them hunting but they will definitely keep your feet dry on rainy days. Comfortable but a little awkward to put on at first with the tight neoprene at the top. Got that figured out pretty quickly though!

Dry Comfortable Happy Feet

I’m a full-time charter Capt. in the Great Lakes. I’ve been wearing rubber deck boots from various manufacturers over the years. They always seem to crack and fall apart, but I went out on a limb tried the new sick boots and my feet are insanely dry, comfortable and happy while I work on the water. I cannot imagine going back to rubber boots. The best part is these boots are very very light and stylish. Absolutely worth a try.

Sitka gore tex

Neck is too small Can’t get my feet in at all

Sharp-looking, but Comfort not Perfect

I like the overall design of these, but the internal seams are not trimmed back. My toes get irritated with the seams.

Wet and cold weather friend

Just returned from Saskatchewan goose hunting and was in cold wet weather. They were perfect. I’m a fan, good looking and functional. 👍

Looks good

Little snug to get into but once on feel decent. Haven’t gotten to wear them for a extended period of time yet but seem like they should do the job.

No cushion/ comfort in footbed

No cushion/ comfort in footbed Love your apparel. Boot did not match quality I have come to expect from Sitka. Very average product overall.

Very comfortable. A little tough

Very comfortable. A little tough to get on because i have. Wide foot. But once they are own they fell good.
