Boots of the Year!

The guys in my family love these boots. Comfortable to wear all day. They usually complain about their feet being tired at the end of the day, but not with these boots. Truly a job well done by Sitka!

I ordered these boots hoping to find a lighter boot for elk hunting in the Rockies. I ordered a size ten perfect fit. Only issue I had was hiking down inclines where my foot went to the front of the boot. But after wearing them my feet didn’t hurt. Kept my feet dry and at a perfect temp

Boot is great

Only issue is the boot cuff is too small. It’s snug to one’s leg. It also really makes the boots hard to put on.

Perfect Compliment

Love all my Sitka gear but hesitated to buy their shoes. These are now my go to shoes for AM dove hunts. Keep my feet dry and are extremely comfortable to wear and walk in. I know they will be perfect compliment to my waterfowl gear for mornings at check stations and gearing up to go home once waders are off.

Well worth the money!!

Bought these to wear to work. Im a car salesman so I need something that looks good but is still comfortable for long days on my feet but also warm and weather resistant since Im out in rain and snow. Tried them out today in rain and puddles. My feet are dry and comfortable. I have plantar fasciatis and am a big dude (275lbs). I love these boots.

Great chore shoe

Great shoe to slip on and go do projects in even if the weather isn't great. Comfortable and easy to take on and off for coming back into the house.

Good quality, bought as gift

Good quality, bought as gift and he loved them. Perfect for hunting or everyday. Usually wears size 13 but the 13’s were a little loose, but perfect for wearing thick socks to keep warm in the winter.

Change The Ankle!

I have the shoe version of this and I want these boots so bad. I spend probably $800+ a year on boots. I have had mainly Origin and Redwing. I have very wide feet and boots either stretch out or they're too tight. These are excellent for my feet. I am also in and out all day, I don't want to be lacing up and unlacing over and over. You do sacrifice protection with these but in my opinion, it's worth it. If I am driving in a skid steer, or in my truck, I don't want the clunky, huge rubber sole, steel toe boot anymore. It brings my productivity way down by having a heavy boot. The durability on these is not going to be the same as a nice leather boot, if you're like me; you may end up replacing every 6 months. The only design downside to these is the elastic on the ankle. At first it is firm and stabs into your ankle but that does go away, but the tight elastic is abrasive and doesn't seem to go away, just wear a decent sock. I imagine they don't want water going into your shoe and because there are no laces, it would be too loose but it doesn't feel good.

No pull tab on front!

Comfortable boots, well made, but my pants keep getting stuck on the pull tab on the front. I’m going to cut mine off, but this is a design flaw.

I like the boot, but

I like the boot, but there are drawbacks: it’s hard to get on and the ankle is tight. I’m waiting for it to stretch some.

I need something that was

I need something that was easy to slip on lightweight and keeps my feet dry. This does it all can’t wait to test it out this winter.

Feels Like a Sneaker Performs Like a Boot

I have been wearing the Sitka Rover GTX LTH Boots and they quickly became my favorite. They are extremely comfortable and truly feel more like shoes than a traditional boot with no long break in period required. They fit great around the ankle and I have not had any of the rubbing issues that others mention, though I always wear above the ankle socks which may make the difference. The waterproofing has been excellent and keeps my feet dry in wet grass and rain. The leather upper feels durable yet flexible so I do not feel like I am sacrificing comfort for toughness. The cushioning from the midsole makes walking all day easy and the traction from the outsole grips well on different surfaces. I also like how simple they are to get on and off with the stretch collar and pull tabs. The overall design looks clean and the materials feel premium. These boots give me the protection and performance I want but with the comfort of everyday shoes. I highly recommend them.

Construction of the boot for durability = 5 Comfort = 2. 5 stars This thing rubs around my ankle so aggressively every step it is painful. Happens on both sides. The entry of the foot into the boot requires strong man level step in power!

Can’t get my foot into the boot

The entry to boot is so tight I’m unable to get my heel into the boot. What poor design. Even a size 7 was unable. Disappointed

Folks, you really need to offer half sizes in this boot. What other high priced show company does not offer half sizes? I normally wear a 10 1/2. I ordered the 11. Close but too big. I have just sent in for an exchange for a 10 and we shall see how it fits. Again, why not offer half sizes?? Nothing you make is inexpensive. It is the best, but size is everything in a shoe fit/

Was really excited to get

Was really excited to get the boots as I have a rubber version of another brand that I wear regularly. Unfortunately, these were underwhelming. The fit is not great for me(a little boxy) and the elastic around the top makes it difficult to get on and rubs above my ankles. The quality seems great, just not what I was hoping for as far as comfort. Hopefully they will be much better after they break in.

Boot is very comfortable and great for everyday wear. Ankle is a little tight which makes them a little hard to slip on initially.

Very comfortable and get the job done. The gore-Tex works amazing and they hold up in the elements. The buckskin shows dirt and stains a little easier but that is expected with a lighter color work boot:

I like how they fit, but the top of the shoe fits super tight around my Achilles and after about 30 minutes the back of my ankle is throbbing. Need to make it wider or put a heel flare at the top

Not a slip on!!

So very very difficult to put on. Ordered a ShoeHorn. . did not help. Worn for two weeks … hoping to return.

Great boots

Light weight; comfortable. They look and feel amazing. The ankle is a bit tight but if they’re durable I’m down. I work as a retriever trainer so I’m hoping tgess last more than a few months!

Super Comfortable

Was able to pick up a pair when the came back in stock. Wore them to a duck hunt in Canada. Super lightweight and comfortable!! I wear a 12 and they fit great. Some reviewers have commented on the opening to the Rover GTX being too snug but that was not my experience. Definitely are ow my “go to” for dog training in the field. Great purchase!!

Anywhere shoes

These are my go to shoes for work or the trail. Dress them up if the situation requires but water proof when im working in or enjoying the outdoors.

heel slippage

My heel has a bit of slippage when walking. Length seem fine, just some heel movement

I ordered a size 10 thinking a 9 would be tight A little loose fitting so I added an insole pad Haven’t worn them yet but the fit feels good now Construction is top quality Might wear to Packer Lions game Sunday to try them out
