Awesome

I got this jacket for a Canada trip this year and I could not have been more pleased with it. This is going to be one of my everyday wears this season. Love the ventilation in the jacket, helps you stay at a comfortable temperature.

Not warm

Based of the reviews and descriptions I expected it to be much warmer. I added more and more layers under it but didn't help much. It only got down to 38 degrees F. at the coldest point. The wind also blows right through it.

Good jacket

This is my fourth Jetstream. The zipper broke on my last one and I wasn't happy. The previous two were great. It's lighter but has a few less pockets. Maybe too few pockets. I hope that it holds up as well as my first two. It's been my go to jacket.

Not like the old Jetstream

Cuffs are loose and not tapered, missing pocket on sleeve and breast, material is not as thick as original model. The old jacket was my all time favorite, the new is not the same standard of quality and ruggedness.

I ordered the jacket right after my hunt based on the recommendation of one of my best friends. I have only had it long enough to wear it a couple of times, but so far I really like it. It performs as advertised, is very comfortable, well made, and the fit is perfect for me.

The Perfect Go To Jacket

The Jetstream is my go to jacket . This is my 2nd one , and I’ve probably got 4 Grandkids wearing them too. It stops the wind , sheds water just like they advertise. To stay warm, just use the proper base layer and life will be good ! HONEST ……

This jacket is the best thing you can get. It was my first piece of gear from Sitka and it’s safe to say I’m a believer now. It regulates heat very well, I hunted in 20° weather all the way up to 60° and I didn’t sweat. Well worth the money. I weigh 160 and a medium fit

My favorite jacket

I’ve had one of these in the timber color. It’s been on hunts from Canada to Texas and it always seems perfect. So I needed one for 10 seasons a year in normal people colors 😁 Still the best jacket I own.

True to size, I’m 6’ 190lb, got xl. Wanted a bit of room. Material super soft, very well made. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is Windstopper may stop wind but it doesn’t stop cold. Definitely need to layer.

Great jacket for everyday use. Fits just like my Sitka hunting gear.

Perfect for my bow season hunts

This jacket is true to size, quiet and perfect for my early season bow hunts. I'm very pleased with the sizing as I am able to will wear a hoodie underneath when the temperature does drop.

Great Windstopper

Just wore it for a week and a half in South Dakota bird hunting. Wind stopper worked great and kept me dry in the all day drizzle. I do think it ran a little small compared to the core merino series

Jetstream Jacket - Subalpine, Large

I've only carried it in the pack and have put it on only a few times so far as an extra layer when it gets a little chillier / windy. I like the wind cutting performance and hood. Somehow it seems to fit well with minimal layers up to several layers including a thin puffy, It is a little noisy for going through the brush - probably from the texture treatment for water repellency. I was able to get it on a discount. I like it, but would not pay full price for it. All Sitka and most other similar brands seem very expensive to me. But it is nice stuff. Although I hunt primarily the timber, I'm not sure about the Subalpine yet. In retrospect I might pick the Open Country color.

Best all around jacket

It’s simple, comfortable, and the fit is just right. I find myself wearing this everyday. Might be a little tough layering underneath for those colder hunts but this jacket isn’t trying to be anything it’s not. The tall options are actually tall in the torso unlike some of their other jackets like the stratus. Only critiques is I wish it had a removable hood and an adjustable wrist opening. Please re-stock the optifade elevated II colorway!

Size fit perfect. I wore it elk hunting and stayed warm in 20-35 degrees. If it got colder would need another layer. Well satisfied.

My all time favorite jacket.

I have been wearing the JetStream jacket for several years now and this is my fourth one in a (different) solid color. They are durable and well-made. Plus they hold up great against the elements.

Sitka Jetstream

I loved the Jetstream so much that I ordered another one in different color and size now that I lost some weight. Caution that the brown mud color is much lighter/copper tan than a deep brown as shown in pictures.

Beautiful jacket, perfect fit, not warm

I was going to five 4 stars but maybe it's just me. First, the jacket is awesome in fit, materials and construction. I love the feel of the material inside and out. Really surprised by that as I'm as picky as they come. My only hesitation in recommending it is, as I should have known, GoreTex Windstopper is just not warm. I've had many Windstopper jackets and none will keep you warm. it sounds as if stopping the wind would do so but it doesn't. That aside, I love the jacket.
