Good piece of gear!

I used it over a couple insulating layers, and it seemed to do trick, breaking the wind, at my back, as I sat in the deer stand, in 20-30-degree weather. In colder weather, I put on the outer shell of my deer hunting coat, and it was nice, without much bulkiness. 5'7" / 185lbs

Would of like to see end of sleeves to have an inside cuff. With it open, more wind can come in.

Most universal jacket

This is my second jet stream jacket. I really appreciate the new design with the blaze orange upper half. My hunting vest doesn’t have enough orange and this will more than make up for it, keeping me visible to fellow hunters in the field. Only improvement would be to have the rubber pull tab on all zipper strings instead of just the main jacket zipper.

Jetstream Jacket

Comfortable over layers, and not super loud in the woods. Highly effective at keeping the wind at bay and the heat trapped in.

Overall, I love the jacket.

Overall, I love the jacket. But the price is a little steep for what you get. It does a pretty good job of blocking wind, but you definitely need layers underneath. Might consider sizing up if you’re going to be using in a lot of very cold weather as you will need a couple layers underneath to be comfortable.

Jetstream Upland Hunting

5 stars. Purchased the orange / tan model for upland hunting. Pit vent zips are nice for long walks, the jacket does well in brush and briars. I recommend this jacket in 50 - 30 degrees with no other layers. With a base layer , you could go into the single digits.

Good outer layer

I wear this along with the traverse hoodie. Depending on temp and weather, rifle season in Northern PA can see some temp differentials this year with this and the traverse was comfortable sitting in 20 degree temps with wind. Great water proof properties and wind blocking.

Great for layering

Needed a jacket to summit a 16,000 ft mountain. I get warm moving so arm pit zips to dump heat are great. Stops wind and not to heavy but allows for layering to regulate body temp.

I hate wearing jackets, they

I hate wearing jackets, they never seem to fit just right. Bought a jet stream for my first elk hunt and it’s now my go to hunting jacket, love it so much I got a second in solids to wear around town. Most comfortable jacket I’ve ever owned!

Great for cutting wind

The Jetstream is great for cutting wind. I'm 5'11 and 185 lbs and ordered a Large. I wish I had realized the intent of this jacket is to cut the wind with some insulation. This will be a great early season jacket but once it drops below 50, even with the Merino Lightweight it is not enough to keep you warm. Had I known this I probably would have sized up to layer more under the jacket. Overall great quality and perfect for early season between 50-65 degrees with varied under layering.

Jetstream Jacket in the Uplands of MN

Absolutely love the Jetstream jacket. I hunted upland game in MN last weekend in 19 degrees and wind gusts into the 15-20 range and the jacket kept the wind out and me warm. It's great because with upland if you have to wear a large bulky jackets it changes the nature of shouldering your gun and wingshooting. Not with this jacket. Absolutely love it!

Great Jacket, Weird Sizing

Great jacket as a solid shell. I ordered a large, which I wear a size large of almost any normally sized jacket. This one I cant zip up all the way to the top, and there isnt much room for any layers underneath. The lengths fit great, just pretty slim fitting in the chest and neck. Size up if you want some extra room.

A nice light weight hoodie that I’ve enjoyed wearing in my early season waterfowl hunts. As things get cooler I can use it as layering.

Awesome jacket

Great jacket! 20 degrees out today wore it with a similar Gore 330 long sleeve, Dakota vest, and the jetstream was perfectly comfortable. Kept the wind out just fine however use the pull tabs at the base of the jacket to help makes a huge difference. Super comfortable as well just to wear around. Highly recommended! I’m 5 10 185lbs ordered an XL fits perfectly.

I like it.

Sporty type feel while wearing. Not meant for standalone outer during colder months, however it does what it says. Sheds wind! Add a hoodie underneath and you can definitely bear cooler temps.

Jacket is great for blocking

Jacket is great for blocking the wind and light rain/snow, seems to be pretty durable as well. Not so great for active days as the sweat/moisture does tend to build up under this jacket pretty fast. I wear this with a heavy baselayer and the ambient 100 hoody underneath for temps into high 30's, with a puffy on top can get away with mid 20's. The jacket does get a bit tight with the layers underneath but not too bad. Wish it was a little longer in the back as it does tend to ride up and let the cold in when sitting.

I recently ordered the Jetstream Jacket and am in love. It’s been great as an outer shell but can double as a mid-layer on those frigid days.

Great Jacket

The jacket performs as expected. Blocks the wind and with a light base layer kept me warm down to the 20s while upland game hunting. The fabric is soft to the touch and quiet. I bought the jacket for upland game hunting under my vest, but will also use it for gun deer hunting while stalking or still hunting in warmer temps.

Awesome jacket, tried a few others brand that just didn’t work out. Needed the extra length in the arms and torso. Wanted open country for hunting in the snow. Put zips are clutch. Picked up the matching beanie and gloves. Works great in the single digits with some layering. Blocks the wind and fabric is quite. Looking forward to wearing for years to come

This jacket is perfect but not as warm as I was hoping. For a lighter do everything jacket, it is perfect. I will probably get a long next time because the reg shorter than what I wanted. Perfect size to wear a bind harness underneath to protect from elements at my size. XL Regular

Great product have worn it now 3 times once as a layer under heavier coat and i could still move around good. Bought XXL wish they had it in tall that would be better for me.

My Absolute Favorite Jacket

I have purchased three of these jackets. A Camo version that has been in my hunting pack for years and two black ones. I needed two because I left the first one in a hotel room while traveling and since this is my favorite, casual go any place jacket I had to get another. Great quality, fit and warmth.
