Great jacket and great customer service

Jacket gave me 7 or 8 years of great, trouble-free use. When the waterproofing and seam tape finally gave out in Alberta this September, I sent it back to Sitka and they shipped me a brand new replacement jacket. While the service time has gotten a lot slower, they still take care of their customers and their products!

Excellent suit

I bought the entire suit for waterfowl and early spring-late fall fishing. This is the best of the best. Warm, cuts wind, waterproof. Well thought out pockets and adjustments. Serves multiple purposes!

The jacket is so comfortable.

The jacket is so comfortable. The size fits well and it feels very easy to move in. Does not feel bulky and yet feels warm. My biggest complaint is that when you do not have the jacket zipped up all the way the gray on the inside really stands out. Why not make it camo. I wear my jacket slightly unzipped most of the time and the gray really stands out. I really think the jacket should have pockets for your hands on the lower section too rather than just near the chest. For these reasons I give the jacket 3 stars. Really would do 3.5 if I could. If those changes were made I’d give it 5 stars. The comfort is amazing

I had the old Hudson and love the updates made to this one. The hood is much improved and thinned out some insulation in non needed areas to layer better. Size large fit good with other layers.

When it gets gold, this jacket is the one. Keeps you safe from the elements with plenty of mobility to move and shoulder your gun. It’s the one piece I won’t go without.

Quality rain jacket

This is my first Sitka item. I really wanted a goretex jacket for those pouring rain days. Im very impressed with the quality of this jacket. I like the wrist cuffs that can tighten up to prevent water from coming in and getting your sleeve wet. I ended up going with a large and it fits perfect, with still room for a layer underneath. Im 5'11 200lbs. Cant wait for the season to start so I can use this jacket and really see how well it works.

I like the front dump

I like the front dump pockets for ammo. The inside chest zipper on the left hand side of the jacket is absolutely essential for cold days putting my phone in truck keys in there will be nice. The hood is a little overbearing. I understand the purpose of it, but it comes down too far on my eyes.

Avid duck and goose hunter here from the northeast. . the Hudson suit is an absolute game changer in the harsh winters we get here. . it could just be the difference of you lasting an hour or longer out in harsh weather compared to other brands!

Love the gear but a little too expensive for the cheap zipper and buttons
