These fit much better than the lightweight socks. I like that I'm able to get them in different colors, camo are lightweight, lichen are medium weight and black are heavyweight, makes grabbing socks out of a bag easy.

Perfect thickness, thicker than a hiking sock but not too thick. I have replaced a competitor’s otc wading sock with these socks. They fit well under my waders.

Best wool socks

I can't say enough about how great these heavy weight and medium weight socks are. They don't itch, they don't get an odor, cushioning, the stay up and are very warm while wicking moisture. I wear them hunting, hiking, and around the house. I've had a lot of wool socks and these are definitely my favorite.

Great sock for hunting and hiking

I use these socks, paired with a good set of boots almost every day for off lead walks with our 2 dogs. The socks are comfortable in both hot and cold weather. I wear them only while active.

They are warm but I did fall in a creek soo my feet got real cold real quick but other than not being waterproof they are super warm and perfect for not insulated boots.

Socks are super comfortable and warm. They still go well with regular shoes and boots and don’t make them too tight. Also, they do not “itch”…. Love them!

I decided to quit wearing

I decided to quit wearing cheaply made, over-the-counter socks that always led to cold feet. The Sitka heavy weights fit the bill. I have a habit of sitting in my tree stand for 3 or four hours and the limiting reagent was always cold feet. Have been wearing these socks in 800 gram boots in temps in the twenties and my feet stayed toasty. They are made well and should last many seasons. Bought two more pair.

Best Hunting Sock

As someone who struggles with cold feet, I have always been skeptical about socks, especially having used other wool and merino ones without much warmth or improvement. These socks have blown me away and keep my feet very warm. No need to double sock or break out my battery powered heated socks, truly the first pair I've found that naturally help my feet stay warm and also dry by wicking sweat. Already own multiple pairs and will be buying more.

Socks are comfortable but not warm

I really wanted to like these socks I was hoping they would keep my feet warm hunting late season. My feet sweat in these just as much as any other sock I don’t see anything special about them especially for the price. I’ve even tried hiking in with another pair of socks and swapping to these once I get in the stand feet still sweat. They are comfortable I’ll give em that and fit good but not what I was hoping for.
