Guard Sun Hoodie Reviews

Oversized

Big and boxy compared to the normal sitka fit

Mosquitoes bit me right through the shirt.

Like the fitment but not the price for not working against mosquitoes.

Amazing hoodie

This hoodie works wonderful. It feels fantastic.

Anti insect approved

Shirt works perfect for insect protection, doing working days on our hunting club land I was getting ate up by chiggers and these and the guard pants saved me from becoming a snack

Super light weight hoodie with insect and sun protection!

Absolutely love it! Our granddaughter’s husband recommended this shirt because we insects tend to ho after us. It actually feels cool when I wear it and protects me from the sun. Plus it looks cool!

Thin but useful.

Thin material is nice in the heat. Sweat did stain the fabric but it should wash out.

Love it

Great sun hoodie, ultralight and comfortable. Has the coverage you need and I really like the built in bug protection - hate having to bring spray and get that stuff all over my skin & gear, this is way cleaner & convenient! I'm 6' 208lbs and the Large fit perfectly

Outstanding for Hot & Humid Florida

I’ve tried a lot of different hoodies over the years and there is absolutely nothing that comes even close to this for lightness and breathability. Totally effective at keeping the biting bugs at bay. So good that I now have three of them.

My everyday guiding shirt

As a fishing guide, I have been waiting to find the perfect shirt for fishing. This shirt is it. It’s very light weight. A little stretch to it. The hood had a great fit which doesn’t fly off when driving the boat as easily as other hooded shirts.

Perfect for the south

I got to wear it once in the Louisiana heat and it works perfect.

Critical shirt in bug country

If you are planning a trip into some buggy country this shirt is a must have. I wore it for six days straight and it repelled biting flies, deer flies, horse flies, and mosquitoes. Kept me cool even on hot afternoons.

Perfect Sun Protection

Wore it out in the boat and swimming in the lake over the weekend and worked great.

Unbelievably good fit. Super light.

Light, comfortable and sharp.

Works great

Got no bites while others in the group were. Lighter than other Sun shirts I have and thinner. Will see how it holds up to use. Wish they had it in waterfowl colors for early teal season.

Love these shirts. Super comfortable

Best fishing shirt hands down

Lightweight and dries fast. Game changer is the bug guard. Not a single mosquito or horsefly bite back in the marshes. Will be ordering more.

Excellent Hoodie for Hotter Days

Love this hoodie for beating the sun when out on the water or just out in the yard on those hotter days.

Great for those of us who sunburn easy

I grabbed a couple of these to wear on a beach trip because I sunburn very easy. They worked great, very comfortable even in the heat on the Gulf of America Alabama beach. Also, the guard portion did its thing as well-big fan of equinox guard pieces so not surprising these worked great

I love these shirts they are so comfortable. They don’t feel like I have anything on.

Perfect shirt for the beach

Great hoodie in the sun and heat. Breathes and dries as expected. Spot on sizing compared to my other Sitka gear. Large 6’- 215 lbs

Fantastic and light

Love the light weight material and it helps keep me cool

Perfect for summer boating or fishing

First time buying this. Fits true to size and is very light but protects you from the sun. Great product. Don't hesitate to buy if available.

Sun/Bug shirt

Fits well and I can’t wait to try it out around the mosquitoes
