Great Pick Up

Perfect upgrade over the standard harness / pouch that come with the couple pairs of Vortex binoculars I own. Work well in the tree stand hunting, keeping binos safe in the truck or blind bag, and especially when hiking and scouting.

Sizing

Feels solid but definitely upsize if you’re on the line. I’m 6ft 195lbs and large feels very tight with just a t shirt on

Miscellaneous Pouch

I posted earlier about an optional accessory pouch for the Flash Optics Harness. I found exactly what I was looking for made by Vortex. I can now truly say I have exactly what I was looking for. BTW - the bino pouch fits my Conquest 10x42 HD’s perfectly. As a result. I’m increasing my review to a 5.

Not what I had hoped for

I have a pair of Swarovski slc 10x42’s. The lid doesn’t close all the way. The rangefinder pocket is very snug for my leupold 400 rangefinder as well. I even checked the size of accessories that it claims to fit before I purchased and figured I would be good.

Nothing worse than a review that starts with "I haven't used it yet but . . . . " Well, I waited until I used my Flash Optics Harness through one antelope hunt and one deer hunt. Now, I can write a review. The Harness is everything I was looking for. Goes on easy. Comfortable. Access to your optic and rangefinder is great. The reason I only gave it a 4 is because Sitka needs to develop a miscellaneous pouch for the other side and an easy way to attach it (Molle clips, etc). My prior Hornady pouch had a zippered pouch for cartridges and miscellaneous items that I definitely missed while hunting with the Flash Optics Harness. I keep things like a Walker Game ear. Spare batttery or two. 5 cartridges or so. Things that can make or break that day's stalk. Just my . 02. I am the customer. I need to be the one to decide whether I want that additional pouch or not. Other than that, I love the Harness. The heavier straps are why I chose it over the Mountain Harness which has the additional pocket option.

This works great for my binoculars, I’m very pleased with it, and it’s very easy to use! I’m definitely going to get another one for my other truck!

Flash Optics Harness

This is a clutch whitetail piece for the saddle hunter. It is adjustable, fits perfectly over layers (fanatics jacket in my case), and stays out of the way during your draw cycle. I couldn't ask for more to have my binos and range finder so close and handy.

Highly Recommend

After seeing so many people hunt with a bino harness I decided to pull the trigger and try one out. I didn't know what to expect as I haven't had any prior experience with one. It took a couple sits to get used to but I was very impressed with the design and quality. Being able to have your binos and range finder right at your finger tips is a game changer and eliminates a lot of movement. The quick release is one of the best features for fast on and off. I normally wear size medium shirts/sweatshirts and size large jackets and this fits true to those sizes. Top lid functions very well. The small details set this harness apart from others.

Optics Harness

The optics holder area is loud when I take my vortex optics out of the pouch. I have to be careful to go slow so it does not make too much noise. The range finder holder is a little too small for my rangefinder. It’s a really tight fit to close it and it does not close completely

Bino pouch too small

The layout, finish, quality is all great… THE BINO POUCH IS TOO SMALL. If the bottom of the Bino pouch was built without having an angle to it would likely fit 90 % of 10x42’s. It’s a bummer that it’s a bit small. I can get the lid down and secured but it’s clearly too small. I have vortex ranger 3000. (Vortex diamondback) essentially fit. Both 10x42

Excellent product, doesn’t get in the way of drawing a bow, pouches are perfect size for optics and rangefinders that I use (vortex razor binos and viper 3000 rangefinders) but may be slightly small for other brands.

Comfortable as long as you only wear a single layer. I’m 6’3” / 230 / fairly fit and I had the straps as far out as they would go and could barely fit. I use a vortex rangefinder and it barely fits the side pocket

One of the best optic harnesses I’ve used

10/10 recommend. Fits great and not to bulky for the saddle.

Comfortable but bulky

The harness overall is ok and comfortable to wear, but it is very bulky compared to other brands; the quick detach system makes it very easy to take on and off and quiet compared to traditional buckles. I’m about 150lbs and with little layering in early season I can’t get it as snug as I would like to my chest.

Great Bino Harness

This harness is awesome! I added a phone holder as well so everything is within my reach. Would love to see Sitka come up with a phone pouch in the cover or one of the other colors.

Comfortable Fit

I have spent hours practicing with this harness. It comfortably carries binoculars and a rangefinder. It never gets in the way climbing or shooting from the ground or from a saddle.

Best bino harness on the market, period! Just need to make a 2nd size option (for the bino holder): the current one for 10x and smaller, and a LARGE harness for normal, Western binos (12s, 14s/15s).

Wanted a third case for more capacity. and didnt love the plastic connections.

Needs some work

Pros: Incredibly well thought out design. QD tabs are a fantastic inclusion and help with donning and removing this product. Fit is as advertised, and the harness is very comfortable to wear. I've worn this during scouting and archery practice all summer in Georgia, and heat retention is a non-issue. Magnetic component is great and functions perfectly when the pockets are open. From a comfort perspective, I'd rather be wearing this than not. Cons: The flaps for covering the optics need to be longer, and probably have a magnetic seal when closed as well. My rangefinder and binos are within spec for what this is recommended for. I saddle hunt and have had the flap for my bino pocket come open when lightly brushed against the tree I was ascending. Even when not in motion, the flap for both pockets is somewhat lacking at best, and (like i said before) it would be incredibly beneficial if the flaps were long enough that they could wrap around the back of their respective pockets and seal magnetically, in addition to the pull tabs. As is, rain could definitely enter into the pockets, and they dont do the best job at keeping out debris like bark. All in all, I like these, but they need this change. We dont need an entirely different harness priced at $50 more; this price is fair. The flaps were supposed to be what set this apart from the mountain optics harness. The issue just needs to be fixed

Not for Vortex Razor UHD

This harness is too small for the Razor UHD binoculars. It may be a good fit for Maven, but it doesn’t fit any of my elk hunting binoculars. My wife uses it for her phone and other items she wants nearby while we hunt.
