First and foremost, thank you for your partnership with leo adventures; otherwise, I would have likely never had the opportunity to own this gear. My only regret in buying this gear is not doing it sooner. I hunted for years in cheap gear either shivering and wet or so layered up I could barely draw my bow. This gear is phenomenal. First morning I hunted was 28 degrees and couldn't keep the jacket zipped up because I'd start sweating. Highest recommendation on Sitka gear and especially the Fanatic bibs and jacket. And once again, thank you!

I bought the bibs and

I bought the bibs and jacket a few years ago while living in north carolina...it never got cold enough to wear these clothes there without sweating profusely. Earlier this year however, I had a reason to use them when my car broke down along the oregon coast, in January, while traveling and I was stranded with no heater, and no house to seek shelter in. I wasn't concerned about freezing once I remembered I had these clothes tucked in the back of my car. For about a month I wore these in frigid wet conditions and had to remove them often because of overheating...even on chilly nights. I didn't put the bibs on completely when I slept either, just the coat and draping the bibs over my legs was sufficient. I'm hot blooded too, and rarely put on many layers...but, after a couple weeks without any source of heat but what I would eat, these clothes were a lifesaver and kept me toasty and dry. I also learned that no matter how much fast food I'd consume, I never felt warmed by the food, just gross and awful. I not only became a true fan of Sitka gear clothes, but an understander of the true benefits of eating raw and organic food. When your body is operating correctly, the nutrition you supply it encourages warmth. I learned extremely quickly that when your flesh is tested by the elements, your food is of a great importance. And neither gmo nor fast food gave me any energy or warmth whatsoever. Awesome experience and incredible clothes Sitka.

This jacket is the only

This jacket is the only jacket I will ever need. It is all that you say it is. The Camo pattern works extremely well. The front pocket to keep you hands worm is the thing that seals the deal. The only negative I have is that I feel it could use a hood.

This jacket and bib combo

This jacket and bib combo is unreal. As everyone knows Sitka always exceeds expectations. That being said most items I can at least imagine improvements no matter how small they may be. Thats not the case with these items. I literally cannot imagine one improvement that could be made. It's better than I ever thought a hunting jacket could be. For reference I wore this with a core lightweight T, and the Fanatic Hoody and was more than comfortable in 15 degrees for hours on end.

The jacket is freakin amazing

The jacket is freakin amazing but you can read the other reviews to find that out. I’m here to talk about the warranty, my dog chewed up my jacket and I almost cried because it is an essential tool for the rut hunts! I called them and told them my dog crewed up the zipper and I sent it back to them. Not only did they fix the jacket free of charge, they also sent me a Sitka camo ball cap. What an awesome company!! Yes the jacket is pricey but when you are setting in the tree on a 15° November morning your going to be mad you didn’t have it the year before..

Warm. Comfortable. Silent. Ergonomically friendly. Awesome jacket! It feels little bit bulky at times, but it’s really not compared to the over layering I’ve had to do in the past. SO impressed!

I had the first fanatic

I had the first fanatic jacket. Excellent garment. This new jacket made for lefties is warmer and quiet. The hand muff with a thin pair of gloves keeps you set for hours in the stand in 20 degree weather.

The warmth and wind blocking

The warmth and wind blocking of this jacket is amazing. Love the layout and pockets including the unique hand muff. This is the best hunting jacket I have ever worn. Hunting gear fro Sitka makes the hunt in tough midwest fall and winter conditions so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

If you hunt in a

If you hunt in a cold climate, this jacket is worth it's weight in gold. The kangaroo pocket is something special. No need for hand muff or thick gloves, which is a huge advantage when bow hunting. People might say it attracts burs, but you should honestly just pack it in anyways because it is so warm. For it's warmth, it isn't bulky at all. No problems with string slap on the sleeves whatsoever. Far superior to any body suit kind of system out there. Pairing it with the neck gaiter, and either the fanatic beanie or stratus beanie is far superior to any hood they could possibly design for this jacket. The price may hurt a bit, but I PROMISE you, you will be so glad you purchased this magical piece of gear.

I like this jacket for

I like this jacket for the most part, but there are some things I would change. The pouch pocket needs some work. I don't see the need for the mesh and the magnet is not near strong enough. If you bend over, good chance you are going to lose some things. Also, I'd like if they added a zippered pocket on the left chest (for the right handed version.) I also wish id had velcro wrists. Over time the wrist openings will get stretched out. Still wish it came with a removable hood too. I don't understand why they took that away.

Finally found something that can

Finally found something that can keep me nice and toasty even in subzero windchill/temps. Great combination of technologies. I will be using it for my big game hunt this Winter in northern Wyoming.

This is the jacket I

This is the jacket I pull out when the mercury really drops...you will not get cold in this jacket and it is complety windproof. When hunting public land with my buddy this past deer season we had a 20 minute boat ride and it was 30 degrees....never felt the wind cutting through my jacket at all. Super comfortable and super quiet as advertised.

Typical Sitka quality as far

Typical Sitka quality as far as the stitching and general build goes. It's a very nice 'all in one' package and I've been able to eliminate the need to carry a muff which takes up space and adds weight when strapped to my mobile setup. I think removing the exterior fleece for archery purposes is a neat idea but I do also believe that it takes away warmth from the jacket too. I had no issues shooting with the previous version. It is certainly nice for the bibs since it really does work to get the burrs out easier. A few improvement could be made. I am not a fan of the constant connect 'feature'. It is not well executed. Cold drafts flow right down your neck to your back when there's any kind of wind. If it was sealed better or there was more fabric to keep the warmth in maybe it would work??? It's harder to get this jacket on since the nylon inner sleeves of the previous version are gone and now it's the micro fleece that layers get caught on. There should be a hood option too, especially for the cost of this jacket. Last of all they took away the internal zippered chest pocket that was on the previous version which only leave the pouch pocket. All these are easy to fix and should have been incorporated into the build of this jacket. Seems like it's 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.

This is exactly what i was looking for. It kept me very warm and would suggest this jacket to every one. Very big thanks to sitka.

I really liked this suit.

I really liked this suit. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right suit for me. It's warm and deadly quiet. It's the most quiet suit out there. The Joey pocket is great, and the hand muff pocket is great as well. All the magnets seemed to work very well. My only gripe with this suit, and the reason I returned it, was because it's NOT WATERPROOF. For 700+ dollars I feel like the suit should be able to be a one stop shop for the elements. If it's snowing or raining I have to start considering wearing a different suit that will allow me to stay in the stand all day. I understand that the lack of a waterproof layer is what makes this jacket so quiet. But there are a few other suits out there that check all the other boxes, including being waterproof that are only a few decibels louder that this. It's a great suit, it's just too much money for a suit that can't be your 'go to' regardless of the weather.

Hats off to Sitka!! I hunt some of the coldest temps in Wisconsin and prefer late season overall, the new Fanatic system is top notch in warmth and comfort.Thanks Sitka!

So I bought this thinking

So I bought this thinking good thoughts with very little money. (Past) I have been using homemade gillie suit but this last year wearing this gear I walked up to two diffrent deer, I mean 10 ft. Unlike my gillie suit, when I stopped moving the deer would go back to doing what ever. With gillie suit the deer would always keep their eyes on me but with this, they turned their backs and walked around, even when shooting at both they only moved 10-20ft away from me great camo!!!!! (I now have a loan at bank for this camo)

I have used this jacket

I have used this jacket for the past two years. Great jacket for under 35 degrees. The pouch in the front is fleece lined and works like a muff. Kept me warm on all day-sits in 30 degree, windy Kansas archery hunt this year. Would recommend to anyone. 6'3' 230 pounds and the XL fits perfect.

I have had it for

I have had it for couple of months and fit and feel is great. Finally had some cold enough to wear and no disappointments. Very warm and comfortable and my favorite cold weather jacket I've ever owned.

Hands down the best jacket

Hands down the best jacket I have ever worn and easily my favorite piece of Sitka gear that I own. The jacket is so well thought out and is a bowhunters dream. The arms are smoothed out in areas to allow for a smooth draw cycle, which is really nice, it also has a range finder/ grunt tube pocket, another pocket you can store your phone in, etc., and a kangaroo style hand muff pocket that is so warm I don't even wear gloves when hunting in it. The collar on this jacket is really nice because it eliminates the need for a neck gaiter and has a magnet to help fold the neck collar down if that's how you prefer to wear it. I'm 6 foot and a bigger guy and normally wear an XL in clothes but I ordered this in an XXL. It fits a little big but is exactly what I wanted so that I could layer under it. If you're not a 'bigger' guy, I'd order the size you normally wear because it is meant for layering. I wear this jacket when it gets down to 35 degrees and below. I've worn it around 30 degrees with strong winds and with nothing other than a long sleeve shirt under it. I have also worn it down to 18 with a long sleeve compression base layer and a vest and stayed plenty warm. I'm positive with a a good mid layer that this jacket can be worn down to the single digits if not down to 0. The jacket is very warm and I cannot begin to explain how good the WindStopper works in this jacket. When I walk to the stand I keep the jacket unzipped and if I'm carrying a lot then I will wait til I get to the stand to put it on. If you don't you'll probably be extra toasty and extra sweaty walking in. The jacket is pricey but if you're a serious whitetail hunter, especially in the late-season, this jacket is a must and well worth the investment into your gear. Thank you Sitka!

I recently got this jacket

I recently got this jacket for Christmas and I am completely blown away. I hunt in Northeast Iowa so it can get extremely cold and have brutal winters. After sitting in the 20° degree weather with 35 MPH wind gusts blowing all night, I can confidently say that I didn’t even get a little chilly. To layer, I had a merino wool shirt, and just base-layer/long underwear. It withstands the conditions and is essential for any cold weather whitetail hunter to ensure you stay comfortable in the stand. 10/10 would recommend.

This is obviously a good

This is obviously a good piece of gear, that I highly recommend for bowhunting, but there are a few things that are left to be desired in my opinion. 1. The rangefinder pocket should be a little lower; when wearing a bino harness, the mouth of the pocket is affected by the strap of the harness making retrieving your rangefinder less smooth than it could be. 2. Jacket should be longer. I don't have a long torso, and my lower back kept feeling the breezes in this jacket. It is cut oddly short, and the drawstring doesn't seem to cinch it down much. This isn't a problem with bibs, but certainly noticeable without. 3. The sleeves need to be lined with a satin like material as opposed to whatever is used. My merino base layers would stick,cling, and bunch putting it on--not all my layers have thumb holes which might reduce this issue, however, I do think they would 'ride up' around your elbows over time. I don't usually wear synthetic base layers, this might not be a problem if you do.

I have been buying, trying

I have been buying, trying so many cold weather gear. For my wife, to keep her out for our 4 month bow season. Usually she would be done when the temperature dropped below 45 degrees. Yesterday it was a chilly 25 degrees with a 5 to 15 mph NE wind. She sat for 5 hours! Getting to see her first ever buck fight. As well as enjoying the time out. Today we will hunt the afternoon in dropping temperatures to 20 degree . Shes actually looking forward to the sit! I bought myself the same outfit. Seeing how much warmer she was. Truly a game changer! The suit (Bibs and jacket) allows the user to use less clothing. Pockets allow the user to hold essential gear. Zippers are quiet, while the suit itself is almost dead silent

I've been bow hunting for

I've been bow hunting for over 25 years and have always purchased gear that was on sale or off brand. I retired recently and treated myself to the Coat and Bibs.....by far THE BEST piece of hunting apparel I have ever purchased. Expensive but well worth the price. Did not need to do all day sits in November as I punched my tag in October but lent my Sitka Suit to a buddy at camp and he could not believe how warm it kept him. He will be purchasing one as well. A little bulky to pack in but well worth it. You will not get cold in this suit. Great quality and pockets and zippers are in all the right places.

No Blaze orange. I can't

No Blaze orange. I can't use it in my state (Wisconsin) for gun deer season unless I wear a coverall.

I wore my Fanatic jacket

I wore my Fanatic jacket for the first time in cold, windy conditions. Sat in the tree for hours and was toasty warm with two thin base layers. Only thing that got cold were my toes. My Cabelas bibs were fine but I am definitely upgrading to the Fanatic bibs. I don’t wear gloves so the built in hand muff was priceless. Sitka’s products are not cheap, but they are worth it. Go put a price on not freezing your butt off.

I've been Deering hunting on

I've been Deering hunting on the ground since I was a kid here in Montana. Last year I got into treestand hunting. Treestands complicate things and require some specialized clothing. I've been using my big game stuff and it worked OK. Yesterday was my first sit with this jacket. It's fantastic! The only kicker is it's not waterproof. It did however handle a light mist. But I pulled my Dewpoint jacket it over it when the wet snow came. Sitka really thought this jacket out. The muff pocket is incredible. The zipper pocket is perfect for a phone or holding hour binos. It is a tad bulky but it's super warm! The grunt call pocket is a great touch! Yet another great Sitka product!

As you would expect from

As you would expect from Sitka, this garment is awesome. I do think the grunt tube and range finder pocket needs a little more work. Maybe the grunt tube side needs to be a little more sectioned off so the tube won’t want to fall into the pocket. Maybe it’s just an issue I’m having. The magnet definitely needs to be stronger. I can definitely live with it though. And would definitely recommend. The bibs are perfect!

Is this expensive? Yes.. Is

Is this expensive? Yes.. Is it worth it? Yes. I recently had a half day sit Temps in mid 20s and 3 inches of snow, I was wearing the long sleeve t shirt, heavy duty half zip t, and the fanatic hoodie with the fanatic coat on overtop. Never did I even get a chill. The only problem I had was not flipping up the collar when it started to snow. Once the snow started falling around my neck it melted and was wet, but not wet close to skin. (but that was my fault) other thing, don't think you can just buy the bibs and coat and expect to be warm, it's the system that works together that keeps the warmth in. This system isn't for everyone, but if you like to be out in the late season, and want to sit longer then think of this as investing in your future hunting experiences. I've never hunted must past Dec 15 because I can't stay warm much more than 3 hours, I know that will change this year.

The new Fanatic series is

The new Fanatic series is top-notch. I've been using the original Fanatic series since it's inception and upgraded to the new stuff for this year. Certainly years of use reduced the warmth factor of the old stuff, but man - the new Fanatic jacket is awesome. Same great features of the last jacket, a little better fabric. I like how the wrists taper on the new, but miss a couple pockets that the old jacket had. All in all, I'm very happy with the Fanatic Jacket. I'm typically a Large in everything Sitka, and this is no exception. Great fit. 6'1 and 185 lbs.

To start I'm 5'10' 165lbs

To start I'm 5'10' 165lbs from NE Ohio. I ordered the large. It fits good, the length is perfect however it is a little loose in stomach. I just wore it today over thermals and the fanatic hoodie. The temp was 21° feels like 14° I was only out for 2 hrs. I am a freeze baby and a tight wod with money so buying this was hard. But after sitting out in the bitter cold today and being toasty and silent I'm more than happy! The hand warmer pocket and grunt tube pocket on the front is money. I had 2 doe and a spike about 15yrds from me. I drew on the doe to make sure it was silent as it seems. It passed the test and didn't ruin my night. This paired with the fanatic hoodie is awesome. I was wearing thermals and fleece lined pants and my legs were freezing but upper body was more than warm. Getting bibs soon as they are in stock. So if you're on the fence about these I'd pull the trigger on them. I wish I did years ago.

Just received this jacket and

Just received this jacket and hoody 3 days ago. I started last night in Pa. woods light snow, high winds, 20 degree temp. I was so surprised these 2 items kept me toasty warm. Tonight weather was not as bad but still 26 degree working well. I was able to keep my hands warm by keeping them in my pocket. I can not believe the light weight of them compared to my old parka's. Now it is time to get some bibs and a warmer pair of boots. Sizing was great I am 6'1 267 lbs. and XXL was perfect with plenty of room. I trust Sitka as when they explain a product they sell it works!

The fanatic jacket is the

The fanatic jacket is the best jacket I have ever owned. I hunt in Illinois where we go from 60 degrees one day down to 15 degrees the next. I have worn the fanatic jacket this year on hunts below 20 degrees with only the fanatic hoodie and heavy merino core shirt under it. I never got the slightest bit cold. One of my favorite parts about the jacket is the hand warmer built into the front of the jacket. Your hands will stay warm even without gloves. My main objective when I purchased the Sitka gear was to reduce the amount of layers I have to wear when I hunt. The fanatic series has helped me do just that. In addition to the jacket, I also own the fanatic bibs, fanatic vest, fanatic gloves, esw pant, and merino heavyweight core pant. I would give a 5/5 star rating to everyone of these items except the fanatic gloves. The fanatic gloves have a great concept however they do not keep your hands warm. My next purchase will be the Stratus or Celsius pants to have something to wear between early season and the heart of the winter. The Fanatic vest is amazing for afternoon hunts when the full jacket might be to much. Hope this long review helps all of you when ordering your Sitka Gear. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

I purchased the 2019 model

I purchased the 2019 model after owning and loving the previous Fanatic set. This is ideal for cold North Eastern days in the tree stand. The new design is great with the berber fleece removed from areas of the garment, shedding un needed bulk in the arms and legs. I'm 6'0 200# and bought a size large which is good for layering of needed, but I find this is warm enough with just the mid weight base layer. The only thing I would change is the way the safety harness goes through the collar. I'd rather have the pass through on the middle of the back. Other than that, I'm very impressed and happy with this set.

Jacket is very warm and very quiet. The zipper is just plain quirky - Would not buy again now that I used it for a season. Other than the zipper, its a good piece of gear.

This is a fantastic piece

This is a fantastic piece of gear full of great features. Right away you can feel the quality of this jacket. Cant wait to put it to the test this season. I would suggest sizing up for layers. For reference, I'm 6'3' 190 lbs. and the large was a little on the short side and to tight with my bibs and hoody on. I exchanged for the XL.

Just received, quality is everything

Just received, quality is everything expected. Normally wear XXL, ordered same. 6’1” 240 athletic build. Exchanged for 3XL. Shoulders and arms were too tight. Length was a little short. Expect 3XL will fit perfect. Look forward to this being the go-to cold weather jacket for the duration.

This jacket is absolutely amazing!

This jacket is absolutely amazing! It has completely changed the game for cold weather sits. Paired with the Fanatic bibs, hat and gloves and proper layering I can sit hours on end on teens and possibly colder. Don't let the price hold you back on the Fanatic set. It is all well worth it!

I just returned from a

I just returned from a stationary whitetail hunt in MT in unseasonably cold weather. I am 6'2' and 260 lbs and the XXL fit nicely over 2 layers of insulation. This is a very effective jacket, as it is very warm and amazingly quiet. My suggestions for improvement are: more room in the throat (or use a stretchy collar) to allow for high neck layering and the Sitka Gear gaiter, and continue working on reducing burr accumulation (this dissuaded me from buying the Fanatic backpack after finishing my hunt). I upgraded from a used model purchased in 2014 and this new jacket is light years better in warmth, roominess and stealth. I hunted in 10-15 F (before wind chill) and didn't need to put my bibs on (traverse insulation and Mountain pants) as this jacket kept me warm in cold winds. Thank you SG for another thoughtful and effective solution to cold weather hunting.
