Fanatic Jacket Reviews

Searched for the perfect hunting

Searched for the perfect hunting jacket with just the right camp pattern. Came across the fanatic and decided to try it. Very warm and fits well.

Excellent fit and quality. Love

Excellent fit and quality. Love the front pocket as well.

Was a big anti-Sitka guy

Was a big anti-Sitka guy before this jacket. Got it when it was on sale, I’m all in now. Been out at 20 degrees with 30mph wind gust and didn’t feel a thing.

Great cold weather gear

Everything is spot on but I swear every time I put on or off the jacket I swear I hear stitches popping time will tell and I guess I will send it back for repair… been ok so far

Amazing Jacket

Most comfortable and well designed jacket I have ever owned. It's a game changer on cold days and the layout of the pockets is perfect.

Great product

Great product

Sitka gear is excellent

I’ve been hunting for over 30 years and Sit gear is by far the best hunting layers I have ever worn

Fanatic jacket

Won’t find any better for cold weather rut hunting

Fanatic Jacket

We finally had some windy, cool days and was able to test this jacket out. It did not disappoint one bit. Truly keeps the wind out keeps you warm. Great product. Temps were in the low 30s with 24 to 38 mph gusts. . . wind chill in the low 20s upper teens.

Warmest Jacket I've ever owned

Amazing jacket! Comfortable, durable and can move in it. Warmest thing I've ever bought

Unique piece

The purpose of this garment is warmth in the bone chilling elements like cold wind, rain and snow. Second to the right boots this Fanatic Jacket is imperative for cold weather survival. Incredible mobility when drawing my bow. Thank you Sitka.

Product is great. Fit is

Product is great. Fit is not for muscular stocky guys

No such thing as too warm

After trying all kinds of different layering pieces and outerwear and still getting cold I broke down and bought the fanatic jacket and bibs. I cannot imagine getting cold in this system even with no layers underneath. The features on the jacket are unmatched as well. The hand warmer pocket alone is worth the price. Some people complain about bulk but for the level of warmth that this system offers it is extremely light and bulk is minimal imo.

Trad bowhunting

Being a trad bowhunter, I've always used wool, but this year tried the Fanatic jacket. I'm always concerned about the string slapping the arm but the design of the jacket had no affect on my shooting. I practiced before going in the field and the results were the same. Impressed with the design and the never felt cold on windy days. Sitka put some thought into this jacket.

Best jacket ever

Recently bought the fanatic jacket and took it out to the range to test out. Overall the jacket performed quite nicely. I’m 5’10, 230, and ordered an XL. I was surprised how much room I still had even while wearing base layers. This was totally worth the buy. I do plan on acquiring another one in the near future.

Fanatic Jacket

Quietest hunting jacket ever!

Fanatic Jacket

Jacket is quiet, warm, and placement of pockets and functionality is a 10/10.

Awsome!!

Best there is

This is bar far the best system I have ever used. Warm while remaining flexible and agile.

Killer in the cold!

The fanatic jacket runs true to size and keeps you warm all day during those cold November sits or in the rain.

Fanatic Jacket

The zipper concept takes a little getting used to but amazing coat for the colt hunts in the winter.

The best!

I can't say enough about this jacket. I hunt in Wisconsin where we get all kinds of nasty weather. This jacket can stand up to all of it. The search is over for the best hunting jacket.

Fanatic jacket

Expensive, but very well made and thought out!!!

Fanatic

The fanatic is the warmest jacket I have ever owned

Great jacket

I can tell my other cloths let the wind in now that I’ve worn this.

Amazing

Very warm and comfortable. Very easy and quite to move in

Fanatic Jacket

Awesome jacket. Super warm and really is windproof.

No longer cold sitting

I’ve hunted a long time and I always get cold after an hour or so on stand in 20 degree or less weather. I always balked at buying a Sitka jacket because of price. All the other jackets that I have bought and they didn’t make the cut. I would have been better off just spending the money on Sitka. You really do get what you pay for.

Fanatic jacket

This jacket is sweet, takes a little getting used to the zipper but I’m beginning to love it. The hand pouch up front is priceless! Also the magnetic that holds the color down is nice but haven’t really utilized it much! The through safety harness hole is really user friendly! I’m throughly impressed, and I was skeptical! If your looking for cold weather gear this is it!

Really amazing jacket

Love this jacket. Put off buying one for a while but it's definitely nice. Only thing I would change is the fleece exterior. I think the soft shell material on the jacket is just as quiet and don't pick up burrs. Love the hand warmer and the sideways zipper is very easy to put on while in a saddle. Also the hand warmer pocket lets your hands sit comfortably on top your bridge saddle hunting. A+ jacket.

Over rated

Not as warm as I thought. For the money it needs to be waterproof and have an hood.

not so great better use of descriptions next time

While the product is well constructed the massive front pockets create more of an visual and physical obstruction when using tree stand and other enclosure hunting methods.

Fanatic Jacket

The large front pouch is like a handcuff. Very warm overall coat

Warm and comfortable

I wore it for the first time a couple weeks ago. Very comfortable and very warm. It doesn’t smother you walking in though.

Cold weather gear at it's finest!

Stay warm in any weather, fits true to size, extremely comfortable. Great thought put into hand warmer style pockets and other's work for grunt call and range finder. Great for bowhunting the cold weather.

Best late season

Absolutely best for cold weather. Extremely silent. Comfortable and mobile. Easy to maneuver in. Definitely worth the money.

Great product. Extremely warm

Recommend

6’3, 220lbs size XL fits great and warm as can be, if your on the fence you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing, warm, and comfortable

Best jacket ever for the price it’s amazing! Highly recommend this brand and specific jacket.

Fantastic

True to size and it’s WARM! I was worried about layering and whether or not it was going to keep me warm. Follow sizing guide and get what they tell you! Fit is perfect and it’s super warm. I can still layer if needed! Super quiet. Durability will be tested this season!
