No longer cold sitting

I’ve hunted a long time and I always get cold after an hour or so on stand in 20 degree or less weather. I always balked at buying a Sitka jacket because of price. All the other jackets that I have bought and they didn’t make the cut. I would have been better off just spending the money on Sitka. You really do get what you pay for.

Fanatic jacket

This jacket is sweet, takes a little getting used to the zipper but I’m beginning to love it. The hand pouch up front is priceless! Also the magnetic that holds the color down is nice but haven’t really utilized it much! The through safety harness hole is really user friendly! I’m throughly impressed, and I was skeptical! If your looking for cold weather gear this is it!

Really amazing jacket

Love this jacket. Put off buying one for a while but it's definitely nice. Only thing I would change is the fleece exterior. I think the soft shell material on the jacket is just as quiet and don't pick up burrs. Love the hand warmer and the sideways zipper is very easy to put on while in a saddle. Also the hand warmer pocket lets your hands sit comfortably on top your bridge saddle hunting. A+ jacket.

Not as warm as I thought. For the money it needs to be waterproof and have an hood.

While the product is well constructed the massive front pockets create more of an visual and physical obstruction when using tree stand and other enclosure hunting methods.

Cold weather gear at it's finest!

Stay warm in any weather, fits true to size, extremely comfortable. Great thought put into hand warmer style pockets and other's work for grunt call and range finder. Great for bowhunting the cold weather.

True to size and it’s WARM! I was worried about layering and whether or not it was going to keep me warm. Follow sizing guide and get what they tell you! Fit is perfect and it’s super warm. I can still layer if needed! Super quiet. Durability will be tested this season!

Sitka is the best hunting gear in the game!!

Probably the best jacket that I own and now I have the exact one in the black edition now. Sitka is the best hunting gear and all around everyday wear that I own, even when it’s not hunting season. My best friend growing up had this same jacket back in the early 90’s and it was the best hunting gear even when I was a teenager and I’m almost 50 now!! Thanks Sitka!

No more cold days on stand, So nice to be able to stay on stand longer, wind and cold is not an issue anymore.

Well designed jacket

This jacket has performed well so far this season. Although I have not experienced typical cold WI weather yet, the jacket has kept me warm and there has been zero wind cutting through. The thing I am most impressed with is the ability of the material to transfer moisture out of the jacket, not allowing sweat to build up and cause a chilling effect.

I chose black

Am very happy with my new Fanatic jacket. It's not one you'd choose for a pack-in or mountain hunt, but is perfect for blind or tree-stand. The offset zipper allows you to keep your hands warm together in the front uni-pocket. I chose black for use inside a pop-up blind, but also plan to use it when calling bull moose in the rut.

Great bow hunting jacket

This jacket is a game changer for me. I purchased the jacket for the unique zipper design that allows for the pouch in the front. My hands are no longer cold while hunting! The jacket is super quiet and design features I love. Wish I purchased years ago.

Overall it’s good

Overall it’s a nice jacket with good features. It’s pretty warm so far sitting in temps of 30-40. Haven’t had anything colder yet. Does pretty good with wind but it’s not windproof. Biggest complaint I have with everything Sitka so far is that they’ve got no idea where to make the seams in the armpits. Way too tight. Shouldn’t have to size up in everything they make to have it not feel like your armpits are getting a wedgie. The designer involved with the armpits should be fired. Everything else fits fantastic. I bought a large and kinda wish I had gone with an xl because of the armpits only even though the rest of it would then be a little too big. The armpits weren’t as tight in this as their other stuff- the traverse was awful and I had to return that.

Dont like the fit

Ordered a large. Tight up high and very loose at the bottom. I would send it back and try a larger size but fear i would not get the new one before hunting season ended.

Cold Hunt in NY

Tried this out for the first time in New York this past week. Mornings were low 30’s, this partnered with fanatic hoodie kept me warmer than I could’ve asked for. Stoked to try this further into the fall/winter!

Stratus Jacket and Bib

The Stratus set performed just as the description said. I wore it from 55 degrees down to 38 degrees with a 15 mph wind. With the proper layers this system will be my go to throughout most of the season.

Its' the perfect jacket for this time of year. Carry the jacket in and then zip it up once you get in stand. Keeps me warm all day.
