Insanely warm and comfortable

I wore this thing with just a super thin t shirt underneath and was perfectly comfortable to about 52 degrees in Missouri for hours. With a 330 merino under it I could go cooler for sure. Or throw my stratus jacket on top and come on freezing cold. Love it.

Fanatic hoodie a must have

A must, cant go, wont go out without it, is a bit small even tho its supposed to be large but beeing a « base layer » it works, beeing a little tight make it easier to layer over it. I highly recommend, will buy again if this one get destroyed.

Fanatic hoodie

I love all of my Sitka gear. I never really bought into the entire layering system and the cost associated with it. However, I now own a ton of Sitka gear and it just flat out works. Keeps you warm whether your dry or wet and dries out extremely fast. Next purchase will be a fanatic jacket and stratus bibs. Every jacket I own or hoodie is an XL. Their base layers I buy in L which I normally wear.

Fanatic Hoodie is Great!

The Fanatic Hoodie is one of the most worn pieces of clothing I wear. This hoody was very well thought out and can be worn in a lot of different scenarios. I feel like the Fanatic Hoodie should be a part of everyone’s layering system.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT!

Surprisingly good....

I wanted to wait till I actually used this hoodie before I gave my review. I used the Fanatic hoodie this morning while hunting a travel corridor to a bedding area. The temps were 41 degrees when I left the truck, I did wear a black cotton T under the hoodie but was extremely pleased. The walk in was smooth and I didnt sweat at all. After climbing up into my stand, I was afraid Id get a chill since the hoodie didnt cause me to over heat.. after sitting about an hour and a half, the temp had only risen to 42 degrees and I was still perfectly comfortable. There was only a 6mph wind from the N. N.W. but I was impressed. I stayed in the stand for 4 hours and had no negative issues what so ever. The pockets are right! The hoodie isnt bulky at all and jus feels right. If you're on the fence, take the step and get this. You will not be disappointed. Sitka has again lived up to their reputation! Thanks Sitka

Great mid-weight hoodie

Great weight, probably good to temps around low 40s. New Optifade pattern seems to work well in mixed hardwood/pine areas of GA where I hunt.

Love it

This hoodie is great and is the first top I've gotten first from Sitka. I wasn't sure it would fit me very well because I tend to need tall sizing. Fits great and this hoodie is pretty warm for how light it is. The new optifade cover is what sold me on trying out sitka because the majority of my hunting is still around greenery and elevated never appealed to me a lot.

This is my favorite hoodie! Love the flip over hand warmers because I don’t wear gloves! Super comfortable and quiet! I feel like it was made for the archery hunter! My only complaint is got the new cover pattern and the inside of it is white! Not a deal breaker but I wish it was a darker color!

I am very impressed with this hoodie. I have been wearing it over the core lightweight crew shirt and that has kept me comfortable from the brisk mornings to the hot days in the sierras. And after wearing it for almost two weeks in the mountains I asked my girlfriend to smell my clothes and guess how long I went without washing it, she guessed 2 days! The built in hand covers are great to have when temps dropped or the wind picks up. And the face shield and hoodie are convenient features too. I don’t have to remember to bring a neck gaiter to stay concealed with this hoodie. Also I found multiple different combinations with my Sitka gear to adapt to changing temperatures throughout the day without adding excess weight or bulk.

Like most people would tell you it’s one of the best hoodies on the market. I’m 6 foot 215 pounds and about a 34 to 36 inch waist. My shoulders are a little bit broader so the large fits me a little snug, but I would not go up a size. I tried on the extra large and it was like a dress. The back of the sweatshirt drops off lower than the front like most Sitka gear does but the extra large dropped to my hamstrings. I exchanged it for a large and I like the fit. It’s well thought out and the face shield fits well without suffocating you when you breathe. I probably wouldn’t wear it on a daily basis just because it’s so unique and specific but you could. I also just don’t own any solid colors and I generally don’t wear camo as a regular sweatshirt.

Fanatic Hoodie

Haven’t tried it out in the woods yet, but the fit and feel of the fanatic hoodie is great. The hood shapes to your head real nice, the face mask has just the right amount of stretch to move with you and not be too flimsy, and the chest pocket and kangaroo pouch is an added bonus to have on this hoodie. If I had to change anything, and there isn’t much, but if I had to it would be to shorten up the length of the sleeves because it can bunch up on your wrist if you don’t use the built in hand mittens and the thumb holes. I would use those if I didn’t have gloves on me. Other than that, a great product for my first ever Sitka piece!
