Downpour Jacket Reviews

Fantastic like all Sitka products

I really love the Sitka product. I have almost all the collection (Elevated II) to Hunt. Fanatic are freakin warm and Incinerator is wonderful for any hunting out of winter. Downpour is necessary for serious hunters that Hunt under the rain.

Downpour

Great for wet weather.

Bone Dry

Very well made, breathable and bone dry. Live in South Florida, heat, humidity and rain, keeps me dry without sweating my butt off.

Quiet, packable

Nice jacket, much quieter than my old goretex shell. Nicely designed, pockets where they can be accessed. Rolls up small for my pack, kept me dry when it was raining. Will be curious to see how it does in a down pour. Ran true to size for me.

Light weight, well made, excellent

Light weight, well made, excellent rain gear. Packable

Downpour Line Change

I previously owned a downpour suit and ordered another because I loved the style, And they are nothing alike. New downpour line in just a rain shell jacket nothing like previous downpour

High Quality Rain Geat

Sitka nailed it with this rain gear for durability and keeping you dry like all of their other products. Only thing I wish it had was pockets. Makes it very inconvenient not having any.

Fits great

Haven’t field worn but it fits great

Excellent! Thank you!

Excellent! Thank you!

Love the lightweight goretex jacket!

The jacket is roomy enough to fit over a heavier jacket in cooler weather.

Downpour jacket

Jacket kept my top half dry. Need to purchase the matching pants next.

Newer Style than last Downpour I had

So had the original Downpour in the elevated camo that had more of the brushed finished than this version. I am sure this one will be just as waterproof as the last one. Only thing I noticed right off the bat is that this one may end up being slightly louder in the treestand than the original one. The sizes do run slightly bigger to allow for other layers underneath.

Downpour

This is the 3rd downpour rain jacket I have purchased. They are great jackets or I would not have bought three of them for me and others. Not just for rain, but for when the temperature is a bit cool outside but not cold.

Jacket

Cool jacket, fit. I advise 🔥

Great jacket. Fits perfect and about as quiet as expected for rain jacket.

Downpour jacket

Looking forward to using this jacket. Got an XL to allow extra clothing underneath. Seems to be a good call. Is a bit roomy but fits fine.

i would not buy anything

i would not buy anything else !

Jacket is good seems lighter

Jacket is good seems lighter and not as quiet as the original with the brushed face Should also allow P. O. Box in the addresses even if not shipping to a pi box cause dhl does not ship in Alaska it goes to a P. O. Box lucky I was able to get the package rerouted to a P. O. Box at the post office other wise it would have been sent back

downpour Jacket

Well I live in Prince Rupert British Columbia in Canada. If anyone has been or heard . . . it is a rain forest and good rain proof jackets are a necessity and this jacket is amazing for it! highly recommend

Downpour jacket

A very nice jacket, lightweight and very packable.

Down Pour Jacket

Arrived on time. Great fit and not very noisy when moving. Definitely my go to GORTEX hunting jacket.

Avid hunter

Nice a light. Louder than expected and wish it had more pockets. But to avoid getting wet in the rain is nice and light to carry

Fits great and very packable

Great Jacket

I received this jacket as a replacement for my thunderhead jacket. I ordered the xxl as I like to have extra room to wear a thick puffy underneath. This coat fits larger than the thunderhead equivalent but is still quite functional and lighter. It’s a bit noisier than the thunderhead but is nowhere near the chip bag crinkling sound of most rain jackets.

Quality

Bought this to replace the one I have had for 6-7 years. Really like the old style way stronger material and quiet when you move. The new style is cheap, loud, and not as warm… would not buy again!!!!

Quieter than the DEW POINT, 100% Waterproof

Great Jacket for rainy day turkey hunting or a early season sit in the whitetail woods. I bought mine in Cover 2 as a Spring/Early Fall system, coat and pants. Quiet enough to pull the bow back with no "crunchy" sounds. Ultra lightweight, and breathable for climbing into the stand or a muggy rainy morning calling in turkeys. 10/10 would recommend.

High-end product as always. In

Nice and light weight and

Nice and light weight and guaranteed to keep you dry.

This is similar in weight

This is similar in weight to the Dee Point jacket, so it’s nice and light. However, it is much less crinkly and noisy. I’ve used it a few times so far and it has been great.

Awesome!

It's works great for me. Dry all day long!

My go to rain jacket

When you need it most. This jacket showed up to save the day. Nothing like sitting there being soaked… not in this jacket. Kept me dry in solid rain! I got the 3xL

Excellent Rain Repellant Jacket

Had an opportunity to wear this jacket in some wet weather and it did an excellent job of keeping me dry.

Sitka

Best gear ever made

Keeps you in the woods no matter how hard it’s raining

Jacket is awesome keeps you dry and warm

Downpour cover

Fits true to size and material is excellent.

Quiet waterproof jacket

I have had plenty of high-end gortex rain jackets but they make noise when you do any type of movement - this jacket is quiet and waterproof

Life is good in a Downpour

The features of the jacket are well thought out. There is ample room in the shoulders. My wish would be slightly more room across the chest and an double slide zipper.

Jacket

Extremely happy with the light weight of the jacket

great fit to size

great jacket for those wet day in the field

changed this product

They changed this product in the last year or 2 and its not as nice. much thinner jacket. the old style was warmer and felt like better quality.

Glad I Had the Downpour Set

Sat in a 5-hour rain and stayed dry with the Downpour jacket and pants. Glad I had them - would have been a harder day without this rain gear.

Good but pricey

Nice jacket but not worth the price

Downpour Jacket

The Sitka Downpour Jacket impresses with reliable waterproofing and rugged outdoor durability — it keeps you dry and protected even in heavy rain. However, it feels a bit bulky for casual city wear or fast-paced hiking where lightweight gear is preferred.

It’s what was needed

People talk a good game about hunting in bad weather. The Down Pour gear takes away the excuses. Easy to take on and off. Full, quiet and comfortable coverage.

Best Rain Jacket

Not just for hunting, this is the perfect waterproof jacket. Never got wet with it on.

I wore it out forbthe

I wore it out forbthe first time the other day and i was wet still not happy about it
