I’ve never been so disappointed with something that I bought from sitka

The way that it’s depicted on the page was nothing like what it was when I got it. It almost seems like it’s just a thin piece of waterproof plastic. I was amazed at Sitka even offers such a cheaply made piece of clothing.

I absolutely love this jacket.

I absolutely love this jacket. Super lightweight. I haven’t tested it out in a downpour yet, and if I do, I will try to come back and update my review. So far in several minutes of normal rain, it has held up great. Definitely my choice for a warm rainy day, or with a sweater on a cooler day. This is key for good layering.

Perfect for spring turkey

This jacket came in clutch last spring turkey season. Was out several sits in rain and was bone dry after. My usual size medium fit me perfect, I’m 5’7” athletic. Sleeves are perfect for bow hunters, no extra material which is very important to me for an outer shell . No reason to size up imo. Quality is exceptional too

Packable and lightweight

Purchased this rain jacket for an upcoming mule deer hunt. I needed a jacket that would fit in my pack and this works in that respect. I ordered an xl and it fits okay but I doubt I’ll be able to layer a warmer jacket underneath. It is noisy and I can’t say anything about it being waterproof yet as haven’t worn it in rain. I didn’t pack a rain jacket last year and got caught in a pop up rain storm and got wet and cold. Hopefully this jacket will work out on the hunt. It’ll be used trout fishing next year and stowed in my vest.

I thought the large would be sized accordingly to allow layering of other size large items underneath. Order a size up to be able to fit anything underneath.

Just got jacket. It is light and fit easily over my outfit. It kept me dry while in rain for 2 hrs.

While it's actively raining the

While it's actively raining the jacket and pants are great! It's a different story as soon as it stops raining... The sound of the rain gives you cover while moving. But when it stops raining the sound of the gear is too loud (even while moving super slow). That said, I love the gear. With the right layers underneath I was totally dry and therefore, warm 👍🏼

Amazing jacket

Absolutely love this. I got it in the mail and immediately took it out on a rainy hunt. Stayed dry and comfy. I love how well it breathes and wicks moisture. Amazing

I have yet to have the opportunity to use these in inclement weather but I am very happy with the weight and fit of the jacket! I bought true to size and they fit over my warming layers and thicker jackets. Knowing Sitkas quality I am confident these are going to save me when the storm finally catches me in the backcountry.

Unreal at keeping you dry

I wore this jacket during my northern Alberta hunt this year, was absolutely down pouring for 13 hours one day and this jacket never let me down once. I was always dry when wearing it.

Great jacket, used 2 times in Alaska on moose hunt. Never got wet!!

Amazing product.

Wore these all day in a moose hunt in Newfoundland in 40 degrees and raining and was dry and comfortable.

Dew Point jackets

I purchased one for me and my wife before our archery elk hunt this year. We don’t generally get a lot of rain in Utah but the High Unitas can and did this trip. We had to stop and drop packs and put on the Dew Points 6 or 7 times in a week. The jackets are lightweight and breathable. I am 5’ 9” and an athletic 193 lbs and the large was perfect for me. They make a little noise but we don’t hunt in them. We packed out an elk at almost midnight this trip in the rain.

Finally, Rain Gear I’ll Actually Carry

Really excited to retire my old USMC Gore-Tex for the Dew Point. My old rain gear worked, but it was heavy and bulky enough that I didn’t always want to carry it. The Dew Point is lightweight, packs down small, and is something I’ll actually keep in my pack. Hunting in the PNW, having reliable rain protection with you can make or break a hunt, and this feels like exactly the shell I’ve been looking for.

This jacket is very perfect for my uses. Before the season starts, I have been using it hiking. It has been light, packable and breathable, making it an essential item to my gear closet

Love how lightweight this jacket is. I sized up to a large so that it can fit easily over my puffy without compressing the down. It works great in that application, and it’s not overly big so as to be cumbersome when I’m wearing it without the puffy.

Little expensive but worth every penny. Having bad gear cost me the whitetail of a lifetime before. Hints why I want the best now. I’d also recommend a high end scope on your rifle.

A tad small

I went with the 3xl to wear over a light jacket or sweatshirt. I’m normally a 2xl but this will have to be worn with very snug items under it.

I love the packability of this jacket and the pit zips are a must when hiking in warmer weather or when layered. Looking forward to testing this jacket out in the field this fall.
