Versatile and comfortable

The Dakota Pant is perhaps Sitka's most versatile Pant. If you could only get onr pair from their entire line, especially in a solid color, this would be it. It's nice enough to wear out and about for everyday use, rugged enough to be used for most hunting application, the fleece lining gives it enough warmth for a spot and stalk winter hunt but stil light enough you could wear during a warm weather day still hunt, and comfortable fitting for all applications. I prefer this style of flat pockets instead of bulky cargo pockets, too.

Favorite hunting pants

Great for cooler weather. Used in Alaska and throughout the Midwest, waterfowl and upland hunting. Fit well, love the liner, comfortable and hold up in the field. My 2nd pair now, Timber and Mud.

Superb

These pants are the best. The quality is amazing. I purchased them to wear bird hunting and under my waders. Now I look for ANY reason to put them on. I did have to get a seamstress to shorten them about an inch to a 31 inseam but they look great.

Another Sitka gem, great quality and comfortable. I am usually a 34 or 35 waist so I bought the 36T and they are perfect

Best hunting pants I own

I recently bought these for colder days. Ordered Large in 34W to give a little more room in the legs. I weigh 183 and am 5'11" and glad I went this size as they fit perfect. Highly recommend.

Long inseam

Overall construction seemed very nice, comfortable and durable. I ordered the regular length which I order in all Sitka pants, they should be about 32” inseam. These were about 34”.

Dakota Pant

These pants are comfortable and versatile. You can use them to layer or on their own. Only thing I wish was the length was a little shorter. It tends to run longer in length. The waist is true to size.

The warmth and durability of these pants is unmatched. I wear these pants to work on the job site and it's literally like wearing your favorite sweatpants but with the durability of jeans. When I wear these pants in the field, it's either as a base layer in the fall or a mid layer in late season goose hunts. 11/10 will definitely buy again, however my only gripe is that I wish there were more colors. I would definitely buy multiple pairs of these pants if there were more color selections.

Great pant, very comfortable and warm. Great as an outer layer or under. Need shorter inseams though, had to get then tailored when I got them. I wear a 30” inch inseam. They are about a 34”

My go to

As soon as it starts to get cold outside I grab my Dakota pants. Fleece lined and very water resistant for day to day uses they can't be beat. I use them as a layering piece under bibs and waders a lot of the time.

This pants are perfect for mid season. Comfortable, warm and quiet. Great for casual wear also.

Great pants

Great pair of pants especially when there is a little chill in the air. They keep you nice and warm and block the wind pretty good. My only down side to these and really any Sitka pants is the sizing. They have 34 regular and 34 tall but I wish they had 34 short like we had in the military.

Soooo comfortable

Full disclosure…I am a Sitka fan and have been for years. I have fully bought into the Sitka layering system. I own the Dakota pant and camouflage and mud color Grinder pant (fleece interior insulation). The MOST comfortable pants I have ever worn, hands down. Durable. Comfortable. Warm. Deep pockets. Multiple pockets. Absolutely love them. I wear a size 42 waist and I’m a little heavy.

Raw tough pant and holds

Raw tough pant and holds up to the test have to burn all the zippers strings or they will come apart but that’s on all my Sitka gear!
