Feels really comfortable and the fit is great. Can't wait for subzero temps to try it out. The built in facemask seems a bit wonky, but willing to give it a try.

Super warm and comfy

As the title says, this hoody dosent play. It's warm and very comterable, found myself using this is upper 30s to 40s with a jetstream upper layer. I was very comterable in those temps with an added 10-15 mph wind. This is a perfect base for the super cold days.

Comfortable, form fitting, flexible, and warm

I really dig this hoody, the temperature control for a base layer is very important so you don’t over heat when trekking in to a spot or hauling out game. Scent control was great and I was able to wear it for a short three day hunt and it didn’t stink afterwards. Would highly recommend!

Great product but sizing isn’t right.

It’s a good piece and does its job keeping you warm. 2 complaints I have though. Doesn’t come in a “Tall” variant like most of their other base layers and the mask is trash. It’s so loose it doesn’t stay in your face like the masks of the lightweight hoody.

Fit/Comfort/Odor Control Excellent

Love this piece. Waited till end of season because not sure I needed it but was intrigued by the odor control advantages. Now I won't go without it late in season. Love it.

This is the layer I’ve been looking for. Everything else has been too heavy or too light.

Extremely warm as a base layer.

This hoody is warmer than you think. I paired this with their Blizzard Aerolite parka and it was too much for elk hunting in Colorado at about 20 degrees F. I sweat a bunch. However, this right at home sitting/glassing in very cold weather.

Runs a little small, tight in the shoulders and chest. I suggest going up a size.

Probably my favorite two pieces I have bought. I wear the hoody all the time. It’s the perfect weight for winter in the southern states

The hoody is very comfortable light weight yet heavy in an uncanny way. It seems to live up to the description and works well with layering or alone, depending on the weather. So far I am a fan. I want to put it through a turkey season which is the main reason I bought it. I have been using it over an Aerolite vest and under the Incinerator jacket. It seems to be a great combo for super cold weather. No complains of getting chilled in 5 degree temps.

Outstanding product

Extremely warm, soft and comfortable. A noticeable step up in warmth from either the heavy weight or fanatic hoodies. Highly recommend for as a base layer for your coldest hunts.

The core did merino 330 hoody is a great heavy base layer for layering in cold weather. It is soft, breathable, unrestrictive, and very warm. It’s excellent at wicking moisture when your activity increases, which helps keep you dry and warm when your activity lowers. I haven’t tested the odor reduction qualities to the extreme, but after wearing it everyday on a three-day duck hunt in Oklahoma there was no noticeable odor.
