Really like the feel of this shirt. Got in a solid color to wear just around as well. Seems like it fits true to size. Perfect layered over the 120.

I’m 5’10” 185 lbs. I purchased size XL. This medium weight merino has been perfect for Virginia November December season. The half zip is great to vent out or zip up when cold. I use a sports Dri-Fit T-shirt underneath and works well combined with XL Jetstream Jacket or XL Traverse Hoody or with a Dakota Vest. As the colder weather moves in, I switched to the Marino 330. The Marino wool keeps me warm and doesn’t smell like the synthetic. I also prefer the size XL as to not to feel tight and like the looser fit.

Softest wool to hit my skin yet!

I came from the original FirstLite Chama set and these blow those out of the water! Unbelievably soft and retains its shape after wearing them multiple times holding zero scent.

Essential Gear!!!

This an integral part of the system, the meat inside the sandwich!!! Layer like this for warmth yet fast drying after you gain some elevation or start getting your trophy home. Temps 32 to 55 degrees. 1) Sitka core merino T shirt. 2) Sitka Core merino 220 half-zip. 3) Ambient Hoodie. These 3 garments are essential parts of my gear. This combo will help you stay in the field more comfortable and therefore longer. Persistence is the key to achieving your goal, whatever it may be!!!

Core Marino, two 220 half zip

This has been a great base layer shirt for me. Very comfortable light and warm. It has some wicking qualities but if you are sweating hard, it will soak. Overall, I would certainly purchase it again.

Core Merino 220

It would have been a fantastic comfortable sweater but the bottom of the chest pocket "puckered" or was permanently wrinkled after I washed the garment. I purchased and returned the item twice. I was going to wear it to casual events (not for hunting) but the defect was too apparent.

Core Merino 220

The Core Merino 220 is an excellent product. Five days of Elk hunting in Oregon was a perfect test. Best best layer I have ever owned. The 220 kept me warm on cool morning and I didn’t overheat on the pursuit through the mountains.

Have been using this piece for everything since i got it. Great for spot/stalk in the deer woods and hanging in the duck blind. Warm and lightweight.

I bought this shirt to wear at work and out on the down as a layer over my nicer button up shirts and works perfect. I will be ordering another in camo for the woods.

Plenty Warm - but sized weird.

Ordered a medium in both the 220 half zip and bottoms. The half zip is plenty warm , but fist more like a sch-medium. I personally feel like the collar isn’t the most comfortable either - but that’s a personal preference not a product issue.

A large would of been

A large would of been a better size for me , so it’s a tighter base layer. Otherwise very happy with the results
