Core Merino 120 Hoodie Reviews

Is very comfortable, it keeps

Is very comfortable, it keeps me warm in the morning cold but still keeps me at a moderate tempature in 80 degrees while moving

Great wish I had 10 more!

This quickly became my favorite shirt for archery hunting. It's very breathable and lightweight, super comfortable, quiet, and flexible. It's only getting a 4 star due to the fact that it tore easier that I was hoping. The hole is very small, im not sure if it was just a minor defect that was exposed to the wrong branch. Or simply just a tougher branch than I remember getting caught on nonetheless it is there. I Would stiill absolutely recommended the core merino 120 hoodie to anyone!

Awesome material

Very light weight and breathable

Merino 120

Nice fit, plenty of stretch to allow unrestricted movement. Will mainly be utilized as a base layer.

120 merino

Very nice good product

Comfy

Easy to wear as a base, kept me warm and didn’t hinder movement

Really like it so far.

Really like it so far. Its thinner then something like the FL Wick but is soft and feels great for warm weather. Used it on a few dove hunts in warmer times and worked out great. Found it to run tad small so I sized up.

Great product

Love the jacket!!

Best hoodie

Amazing quality great fit!

Best layer without question!

Best layer without question!

Quality control

It’s very easy to rip. I wore it hunting once and catching a couple tree limbs has already torn it in 2 spots. Sadly greatly unimpressed in comparison to other merino items I own.

Core Merino 120 hoodie

Great base layer .size large

Merino 120 Hoodie

I purchased this hoody for a western elk hunt in Wyoming. The material was fantastic at keeping me comfortable during long hikes and significant weather swings. I wore it daily for a week. At the end of the week the hoodie didn’t smell terrible. I like the hood and face shield it’s convenient to have connected and not need additional pieces of clothing. I highly recommend.

Core merino is must have

Must have piece for any kit. Great as outer layer when hot and base layer when temps drop.

Merino 120 Hoodie

True to fit, and the face mask fit way tighter than the Merino 300 Hoodie

I love this hoodie!

This hoodie fits great, feels very comfortable, and works perfectly as a base layer or a standalone on a hot day. I will definitely be buying more of these.

Love the hoody in the hot Florida sun

I have been wearing this on the Florida heat and the wicking the wool provides is awesome. Happy with this piece, glad I got it.

12 Merino hoody

Feels great. Neck gaiter isn't my favorite, but I can see a use for it. It does fit a little tight. Probably should have got the XL, but most other sitka I have is Large, so I assumed it would fit. The Hudson Jacket I have is the other way around. The Large fits a little big. Kinda hard to dial in a size per clothing option if you can't try on.

Must have or archery hunting

light weight, cool, built in face mask, this stuff is the real deal!

Quality & great fit

Solid, exactly what a mid layer should be. Basic but wearable in a layered system.

Great base layer or early season jacket

Real light weight and cool, handles this Texas heat like a champ

Lightweight

Lightweight and perfect for those in between days.

Quality

Love the fit of this hoodie

Exactly what I needed

I walk in on cold mornings wearing only minis on my upper half. It’s just enough to keep me covered without sweating a whole lot

Just ok

For the price. I have other shirts that cost 1/2 this that feel and fit the same as this

Perfect for early season

Very well made and light weight hoodie perfect for those warm days

Early season must

Lightweight yet warm. Great for cool mornings and evenings, but not too hot and bulky in the heat of the day. Great base layer when it gets cold.

I have had merino wool

I have had merino wool socks for a while now and they’re great. I bought this for October hunt haven’t used it yet do to summer heat but tried it on very comfortable. Time will tell come October

Very light

Love the color and material very light. Good for those early season hunts

Must have base layer

Nice light weight base layer.

best baselayer ever! ... I

best baselayer ever! ... I run HOT, and this thing performs even on warm days. Dries fast, keeps the stink down, VERY happy with it :)

Quality

Always expect quality

Black lightweight hoodie

Love the material , weight and comfort, but there should be pockets or one big one by your waist similar to a hoodie sweatshirt

Nice features, mediocre fit

Hood mask and zipper are what I wanted. The body is sort of drapey, not as form fitting as the core merino zip shirts. The bottom hem needs to be about an inch or so longer to keep it from riding up when I’m crouched. It’s about the same length as the zip shirt but because it’s not form fitting, it leaves a gap. I’m 5,8”, 155#, wearing a medium.

Perfect, light weight stylish!

Very Nice

Overall I'm very happy with the core merino 120 hoodie. It's super comfortable and quality materials. Only complaint I have is it's short and I use it as a layer. Being short, it comes untucked easily.

Core merino 120 hoodie

Very pleased with this!! Exactly what I needed to add to my current setup.

Core Merino 120 Hoodie

I absolutely love the whole design of the core Merino 120 hoodie. From the thumb holes to the built in face mask, to the thin ness of the shirt making it breathe able, is perfect for early season sits in the stand. If you get hot the front zipper almost comes down to your belly button so that is a great feature. I will be honest I did sweat when I wore it early season but it wasn’t a burning up sweat, but it was from the design of the shirt to keep the sweat smell absorbed in the shirt so it doesn’t spread your smell. I don’t know all the technical specs wording for it, but it still felt great in the stand, but as soon as late season rolls around you can slap that thing on as a base layer, so I think it’s a win win getting a shirt you can use any time of season. Think you did great on this one Sitka!

Good

It fits good and is breathable

Very well made shirt…comfortable and

Very well made shirt…comfortable and I like the material! Will purchase more colors!

Good, not great

I have a merino wool hoody problem, I have many from multiple companies. They are all good, but this one has a couple issues for me personally. I don't like the elastic around the hood that pulls it up tight around my hat so that the rigid corners of the zip collar poke up against my neck and chin. It's fit is also a bit small for a large compared to others. It also is a little shorter than I prefer at the waist. Finally, I prefer a true quarter zip and this one is more like a half zip. For the record, I have a friend who considers this his favorite merino hoody and recommended it to me. To each his own.

Lightweight and extremely comfortable
