Core Merino 120 Hoodie Reviews

Good Mid layer

I wear this under a ski shell coat and it does a great job at keeping me warm on the cold days while outside for many hours.

Very great!

Fit true to size and very good quality for hunting season! My boyfriend loved it!

Good not great

A little underwhelming This is a very very light weight hoodie. Lighter than a T shirt.

Kangaroo Pocket

I think the quality of the hoodie is top notch, the item is definitely well made. My only real complaint is that it lacks a kangaroo pocket. I guess when I think of a hoodie I think kangaroo pocket. I just like having somewhere to put my hands or stash an item.

Core Merino 120 Hoodie

A little thin a runs a tad small, other than that it’s a good shirt.

Great product

Great comfort and durability. True to size

Core Merino 120 Hoodie

Solid piece of base layer. I actually bought 3 of these. One of me and one for each of my sons. It is a great base for layering and wicking to keep dryer and warm during movement across the terrain. I'd certainly go heavier weight if sitting in a tree stand. . . but this is perfect for the stalk and tracking.

Merino wool hoodie

Lightweight. Great for running or bad layering on cold days

Core Merino 120 Hoodie

I wear this as a base layer whenever I hunt in cooler weather. Does not itch and is very breathable.

Perfect for early fall/spring

Perfect for keeping your body temperature not too hot or cold. I’ll be using this as a base layer or for cool mornings when shooting on the range.

Lightweight Merino 120 Hoodie

Very lightweight. Extremely soft. Better than polyester like all other hot weather hoodies which trap the heat in, while merino releases heat. The hoodie fits better around a hat and zips comfortably.

Core Merino Hoodie

Fits perfect very comfortable

Merino Hoodie

Good Hoodie, controls temp well

Comfortable

Fits great I like the shirt.

Great light weight layer

Great for layering or a night out on the town in the solids. Will buy more!

As advertised

Great base layer and no scent.

Poor quality

After wearing once, washing twice a "Wrinkled" look underneath left side chest area shows up. it looks like a long wrinkled strap. . .

Core to the bone

This is the second core Marino 120 hoodie I own. I have a camo version and the green version. It is a perfect layer while being active in colder weather. I use it for backpacking and it is warm enough to keep you warm and cool enough to keep you cool. The long zipper gives you an opportunity to vent when building up body heat. When all cinched up hood on with a shirt over, it keeps me warm down into the upper 40s. As soon as the temp drops below that I just layer on another layer like a down puffy. It packs up small as to minimize space in your backpack. it fits great. I like my tight fitted clothing to be a little loose so I ordered the extra large.

Love it!

It fits nicely, it feels soft and stretchy, and the hidden balaclava is the best. I'm gonna wear this all summer as I stalk the rivers looking for trout.

Core Merino 120 hoodie

Great piece of gear

Nice but could improve

It’s a quiet big for a large and it is very light weight. I hope lasts though and the face mask is too big as well. Either I need a medium or it’s just strange fitting.

Merino hoodie

Fit was good and well made

Core 120 hoodie

Love this hoodie! A great base layer for hunts, hikes or whatever.

Hoodie

Awesome

Nice hoodie

Love it, fits perfect and no odor after 2 long days on the trail.

Home run, Sitka!

These 120 weight merino hoodies are awesome. Very soft and comfortable. Stretchy enough, cool enough to wear until about 80 in the humid south. Great for layering cooler than 60. Hood and mask fit well, pocket is great. Thumb loops great for keeping the sleeves down when putting on something over it. What else can I say…I have 3!

Great light weight addition

The i tegrsted face mask makde this perfect for me. I use this under some heavier layers that lack the face mask.

Good fit

Good for and great addition to my Sitka gear

Great warm weather shirt

Fit is good. I like the built in face mask. This is a great shirt for warm weather duck hunting!

Merino hoodie

By far the warmest base layer I’ve found, used it in Canada for waterfowl, even with only using it and not adding additional layers will keep you warm.

Merino Hoodie

Great base layer. Comfortable.

Nice top.

Love the material and the mask is great. Just wish it we a little heavier for the price.

Good lightweight hoodie

Perfect for early bow season keeping cool or lightweight mid layer

Good fit

Very comfortable shirt

My favorite shirt

The Core Merino 120 hoody (and long sleeve) are the most comfortable shirts I have ever worn. They perform exceptionally as a base layer in colder seasons and are perfect for warm weather as a stand alone shirt. The most comfortable merino products I have ever used.
