Perfect Base Layer

I’m 6’0 220 and the the XL fits perfect. This base layer works great for whitetail. I’ve used it for shed and rabbit hunting as well. Definitely keeps the moisture off the skin. Hood provides more warmth than I anticipated.

Good Base

Nice lightweight Hoody with the face mask. I typically whitetail hunt in Virginia with layers when it’s cold and this is a great addition with the hood and face for a little better concealment but is light enough to wear early season as well. The chest zipper pocket is just big enough for rangefinder or another small item to keep handy. I’ll probably buy another at some point if the price comes down

Own a number of these in different colors and they are the first thing I put on, regardless of the season. September Archery I live in just these for a top. Throw on my Jetstream Jacket for chilly mornings and evenings. Later in the season, this is the base of my layering system.

Michigan Hunting

The Sitka Core Lightweight Hoody has been alright during my hunting in Michigan over the past year. It's lightweight and offers decent breathability, which is good for layering. It's comfortable, but the overall warmth it provides could be better, especially on colder days. It's an alright option for mild conditions, but might not be the best choice for extreme weather.

Awesome Lightweight Gear

I have yet to try in on in the field enough for an honest durability rating but first glance, I'm excited. The fit is great, after an exchange. I started with a LT but had to go to an XLT given the tightness of the large. The arm length is great and the extra long back will be awesome in the field. Looking forward to next falls hunts where I'm not sweating uncontrollably in the Utah heat!

Great next to skin layer. Worked well during spring bear when temps got into the 80s. I’m 6’2, 225lbs, athletic build. XL fits well throughout the body, only issue is it’s a little tight across my back shoulders. I normally wear a large t shirt in most brands.

The core lightweight hoody is one of those pieces that I will always have in my system or hanging in the gear room ready to go. The material is just right. The features offer everything your could need or ask for in a base layer.
