Core Lightweight Bottom Reviews

Amazing base layer

Very good base layer, amazing for any kind of hunt that involves layering, layers very well under any system and works amazingly.

Lightweight Bottoms

Nice feel to the skin. Cuts down al humidity and feels like you don't even have them on. Very comfortable to wear under waders or bibs!

Was the perfect layer

Was the perfect layer for trekking around moose hunting in Newfoundland.

Very thin base layer

Normally I wear a 2X, but needed a size down in this. I ended up returning the item and deciding not to purchase it again overall quality was good. It was just an extremely thin base layer and I didn’t feel the need to have a base layer this thin may be personal preference.

Seem just right

With it being 93 degrees now, I haven't had a need to wear these and really try them out. That will come in October when hunting in Colorado mountains.

Core Lightweight Bottom

I bought the bottoms and the top for my bf for for Christmas, and he loves them! Wears them under his hunting clothes and even sometimes wears them under his jeans for work! Super warm!

Exactly What I Wanted

Great base layer for mild weather activity

Long underwear

Always great have this quality!!

Core Lightweight

These fit perfect - loose (don’t feel like they are compressing you) but they stay in place. The weight/warmth is exactly what I was looking for - wore them hiking in many different temps from 5 degrees to 40 degrees F.

Great

Fits great

Great bottom baselayer

I chose this weight because of the dynamic nature of my public land hunts. These kept my temperature regulated while on the move, and warm during mid-season temperatures.

Awesome!!

Love these have a few pairs in camo and solid. Go to for those early season morning sits

Core thermals

Nice for cool mornings especially if you’re moving around. They have good stretching

Does its job as needed.

Does its job as needed. Just a tad long for me but overall great lightweight base

Perfect weight for early season

Perfect weight for early season temps. Works well with all the Sitka pants. Can wear when in heated areas for a while when necessary.

Lightweight Bottom

Very breathable and thinner material. Perfect for earlier season hunts when there is just enough of a chill in the air.

Great lightweight core

Warmer than I expected and also comfortable when it warms up during the day

Rice fields of Calif-orniastan

Soon to keep me comfortable. Everything is perfect just what I figured the quality would be. Can't wait to wear

Very comfortable undergarment.

Very comfortable undergarment.

Long Underwear

They fit great and keep you warm. I’m not entirely sure why the camo pattern is necessary, though—these are meant to be a base layer. The camouflage would only really come in handy if you planned to go hunting in nothing but your underwear. ”

Perfect warm / cool weather base

Wore under waders for a hot September opener and helped wick moisture and keep me cool while feeling like almost nothing on.

Very happy!

The fit is outstanding and the fabric is very comfortable. They don't bunch up under the outerlayer.

Core LW Bottom

Perfect for wearing under my waders!

Great stuff

I bought the Sitka Core Lightweight Bottom for early-season hunts, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite base layers. Super comfortable right out of the box — the material is soft, stretchy, and fits really well without being too tight. I’ve worn it on a few hikes and hunts already, and it does a great job wicking sweat and keeping me dry. Even after long days, it doesn’t hold odor thanks to the Polygiene treatment. It’s light enough to wear on warmer days but also layers easily under other gear. Definitely worth the investment if you spend a lot of time outdoors.

Great base layer

Wore these out in the spring on a couple really hot days under the mountain pant kept my dry and reasonably cool would also be great in the late season hunts under the heavy bottom as another layer. Feel like these run a bit small though.

Great fit, though a little

Great fit, though a little snug around the calf area starting out. That may change as I wear them more.
