Blizzard GTX Glove Reviews

Decent glove, good wind protection

Decent glove, good wind protection but for the money I wish they were warmer, unfortunately could not order the blizzard pro because of the NYS ban on certain products now, I think there’s better options out there

The Almost Perfect Glove

This is a great glove, however. . . There are a few things that can make it the perfect glove. The cinch is great at the opening of the glove, but add a second cinch across the wrist where the elastic is but on the dorsal side of the wrist. My former favorite pair of gloves, the RedHead Heavyweight Insulated Fleece Gloves have this exact cinch, this would be a game changer for these gloves as they tend to drift away from the finger tips when moving which results in constant adjusting. The second and final thing that could improve this glove is the length of the thumb. No one's distal phalanx reaches all the way to the bottom of the promixal phalanx of their pointer finger. This results in about an inch of empty space in the thumb which hinders dexterity and also results in constant adjustment.

My husband wore out his 1st pair of the Blizzard GTX’s. He likes the updates Sitka made by added length to the wrist area. MUST buy for the outdoorsman in your life.

Great gloves

These gloves are warm and the extra material to cover high on my wrists works well to block the wind.

Blizzard Gtx Gloves

The best cold weather gloves, good in snow and below Freezing. 2XL for big hands

Blizzard gtx gloves

These gloves are great I have been in negative 15 degree weather and my hands stayed warm they are water proof as well very nice gloves

Waterproof?

These gloves are advertised are waterproof, but after using them in several rain storms duck hunting they are anything but. Hard to shoot with, trigger finger wont fit into guard slows down your reaction time. These get wet and stay wet after awhile you end up not even using them. Better off getting a pair of snow board gloves at leasy you wont be spending $$$$ for wet bulky hands you cant squeeze a trigger with

Actually waterproof

They’re perfect for picking up duck decoys.

great gloves

Very nice gloves

Best gloves ever!!

There are some of the warmest and most comfortable pair of gloves I have ever purchased.

Good for duck hunting except palm material

I have purchased multiple products from Sitka and everyone has performed above and beyond my expectations. That said, these gloves are really good EXCEPT, why put leather (or leather like material) on the palms of these gloves. First time duck hunting in snow, and mixed precipitation with these gloves and 5 hours after coming in the palms are still wet. Inside of gloves dry and other material dry. I would give 5 stars except for this. Why not use a rubberized grip palm or something that will not hold or absorb water.

Blizzard GTX Gloves

Love them, waterproof and very durable when late season duck hunting.

Amazing gloves

Was a little skeptical on how long they would last and how waterproof these are but after 2 seasons they are still keeping my hands dry after picking up decoys on the water

Blizzard Glove

Great Gloves

Exchanging for smaller size, but great gloves. Stay Dry, Stay Warm.

Warm gloves

Blizzard GTX Gloves

Extremely warm and very dry. Water just beads up and runs right off of these gloves. Love the length as they cover the cuffs of any layer that you might be wearing. Keep your hands warm and dry while you are either putting out or picking up decoys!!

Simply the Best

In the Pacific Northwest, finding the right pair of gloves is hard. They need to keep your hands warm and dry at the same time. These GTX gloves do that! From setting decoys on the Columbia river to pulling crabs out of the Pacific Ocean, I use these for everything. I have had them submerged in the water and my hands stay dry and warm. Sitka hit it out of the park with these!

Well made

Solid construction, not as warm as I had hoped , perfect fit for wide hand

Blizzard GTX gloves

Extremely warm and perfect for movement on the cold days

Warm

I’m pumped up about these gloves. The older I get the more I focus on warmth. Best gloves I’ve owned so far.

I've struggled for a long

I've struggled for a long time to find gloves that keep you dry and warm in the worst conditions. These ones do all that and they are very quiet for how weather resistant they are.

Great pain of gloves

I just wore these gloves yesterday duck hunting in rain and high wind. We received about 3" of rain the 6 hours we were in the blind. The outer layer of the gloves got. completely soaked but my had stayed dry. The only complaint I have about the gloves it the inner liner seems to move making it hard to get your fingers back into the gloves after removing them. All thing considered a great glove pair of gloves.

Kept my hands warm on

Kept my hands warm on those cold days but too heavy to get a good feel on the trigger

Gloves

When actively moving the gloves work as designed. Provide warmth and comfort, and very functional. However, if sit in cooler weather the fingers still get cold.

Everything Sitka is amazing

Solid Glove

Great waterproof glove, love the light leather palm and grip, as well as easily adjustable wrist. I have to size up to an XL for length and pointer/thumb spread to have full dexterity, so the palm is a bit wide, but nothing that impacts the function for my use.
