Back40 Boot Reviews

Boots

The run a little small I would recommend sizing up but very comfortable and they are surprisingly easy to walk in

Backroads boot

Sitka boots are comfortable and warm. I also like that they are 18.5 inches, most boots are 16-17 inches tall.

Back 40 boots

very good and very Warm

Very good boots. These boots

Very good boots. These boots with a pair of insulated socks kept my feet warm in mid 20's sitting 4 hours. True to size.

Booted

The boot is way too heavy and will never be worn. It was returned.

Excellent Cold Weather Boots!

I really like the height of the boot. Also, it fits a little snugger around the calves so your pants don't slip out easily if you're not wearing a wader pant or gaiters. I wear the size 11 and it's just right for me. They fit great around the ankle and are easy to put on and off. I used them in the cold winter months for waterfowl earlier this year and just returned from SK, Canada, where they performed flawless from 26 degrees to 50 degrees. I'm very happy with them after trying 3 other major boot brands.

Excellent boot

Im a rubber boot enthusiast to my wifes disdain. These are the best rubber boots I have ever owned.

Boots

Brand-new participant in the brand. Just went moose hunting and was looking for a good mud boot. Haven't tested them yet in the field, but plan on walking them around with the dogs. Fit was good with merino wool socks, I have wider feet so I went one size up.

Great Boot - Impressed

Great fit and feel. Stays put on my heel, traction, comfort and durabilty all top notch.

So far, great at not

So far, great at not bringing in water, but if it’s raining and water gets in them from the top, then you’re stuck sloshing around in it. Other than that, extremely comfortable, even in hot climates, and

True to size. Great boot. Even do some hiking in these with no trouble

Fantastic boot

I’ve worn this boot through some thick mud and very rough prairie with sagebrush, marshes and rocks. It cares nothing for those conditions; I might as well be walking in a parking lot. The boots give me a great deal of confidence; no matter where I am, the boots are at home and are not my limiting factor.

Just got the boots and

Just got the boots and they fit great. Light wieght, comfortable and good support. Time will tell how good they are in durability. I haven't found a boot that last more than a year without blowing out somewhere. I wear them almost every day in late winter, spring and summer working bird dogs.

Perfect Boot

Been using these boots for bears walking across uneven terrain and the boots have a strong true to size fit staying firm around my heel with no sleeping and has performed well walking in low water and muddy conditions.

Comfort and back country ready

A very comfortable boot for a long day in the field. Would highly recommend.

Best boot I’ve had

Super comfy and enough room for heavy socks if needed

Back40 Boots

Love the Back40 boots! Can’t wait to use them to chase down some trophy whitetail.

Good boot for the money

I'm normally not a rubber boot guy, but these boots are awesome. . . . comfortable and insulated well for cold to mild hunts. . . I normally wear a 10-1/2 shoe/boot. An 11 is a little too loose for me so I opted for a 10. A little snug, but fits great and are like your favorite pair of shoes.

Muck boots

Awesome boot. . comfortable and light weight!!!

Bought these for my husband after doing some research. Been wearing them for season prep and stated multiple times how comfortable they are.

Great boot just run small/ tight

Could be a super comfortable boot. I normally wear 11 in the wader boots so I order same size in these. They fit great length wise but super tight over the top of the foot. After a few miles they loosened up but not completely comfortable

Back 40 boot

Exceeded expectations! Great boot and comfortable to wear on long walks in the woods.

So far so good. Haven’t worn them much yet but should be well worth it

Top of boot gets tore up easy

Overall a comfy boot. Giving it 4 stars because I walked through some thorns on the very first day of wearing them and the fabric on the top of boot has some stitches out of it already.

Back40 boot

So they are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had right out of the box but the only downside of them is the durability from my personal experience. So I’ve had them for one year now and I have not been easy on them and they have already cracked in multiple places and a few slices. So that takes the waterproofing part out of them.

Looks good

Fits perfect! not too heavy, ideal for me

Back 40 boot

Nice Boots. I wear a 10 in lacrosse. Ordered a 10 and had to exchange for 11.

Back40 Boot

Very comfortable and lightweight boot that fits true to size!

Fits perfect

Fits perfect

Comfortable Boots

Very comfortable boot. I typically wear a size 10. 5 in most hunting boots, but because I have a narrow foot, I purchased a size 10 and they fit perfectly with regular socks. For colder weather and heavier socks, I would likely need a size 11. Overall, these have become my new favorite hunting boots. They're comfortable right out of the box, and I’m seriously considering buying a second pair specifically for cold-weather hunting.

Heel slips a little and

Heel slips a little and sometimes my foot hurts

Back 40 Boot

What an amazing boot. Fits like a good athletic shoe.

Back 40 Boot

Low priced boot that will hold up to elements!

Waterproof, durable and easy to take on and off

Love the boots. I’ve wore them hunting in cold, climbing rocky terrain and stood in creeks fishing with them submerged underwater and my foot were still swarm and dry.

Heavy and they look like

Heavy and they look like bozo the clown shoes. Not at all what I expected

Back40 Boot

I recently received my Back40 Boot and the timing was impeccable. Living in south Louisiana and experiencing recent heavy rains and thunderstorms these boots provide the protection and comfort as advertised. I borrowed my son in law’s pair during this past hunting season and they were too big for me. I ordered myself a pair in my sneaker size and they fit perfectly. Thanks Sitka!
