Ambient 100 Hooded Jacket Reviews

Love the ambient but. . .

This is my second ambient and I love the material and comfort but on the zip up jacket the elastic band around the waist is too tight.

Jacket is great very light

Jacket is great very light weight and surprisingly VERY warm. I am 5’ 9” 210 lbs and I got an Xl it’s a little big but fits good!

My favorite Sitka item.

If somebody were to ask me which Sitka item to buy for the first one, I’d recommend the Ambient. I have 3 of them in multiple colors/patterns. Super light yet very warm. I’d love Sitka to make an Ambient pant for glassing or in the stand for the in between temps.

Great jacket! Warm and comfortable

Great jacket! Warm and comfortable just like all of Sitkas products!

Ambient

Easily packable and fantastic to layer with

Ambient 100 hooded jacket

Great product. Perfect for layering or can be used as an outer layer on warmer days

Great Jacket

Used as an outer layer or an insulation piece.

Best mid layer

This is the best mid layer on the market in my opinion. Lightweight breathable and packs down nicely. I’m 6’ 175lbs and large is perfect.

ambient hoodie

only had the chance to wear it once but love the fit and how warm it is for being so compact and light

Not very durable

The jacket itself is great. Very light and very warm. Would have rated higher but the “3” durability rating given by Sitka is a stretch. If this jacket so much as touches a twig in the woods it rips. Wear it around town or underneath something else at all times.

Very comfortable

Love this jacket. Perfect mid layer

Great jacket

Jacket doesn’t restrict movement with bulkiness but is still extremely warm!

XL fit great.

This is a great everyday

This is a great everyday piece for cool temps. Super comfortable!

Ambient 100

Excellent product. Super lightweight and warm. It’s a good product paired with a hoody or merino shirt.

Great active insulation outer layer

Great active insulation outer layer for temps down to the 20s when moving and works just as well as a mid layer under a puffy when stationary.

Mixed bag collective

We have put them Through all the test of rain sleet and snow. Everything always holds up for us.

My favorite jacket for all

My favorite jacket for all temps. Not too hot and never cold

Great jacket

Perfect for late fall

GREAT JACKET

Light, warm, and comfortable. I love the fleece inside.

Great lightweight jacket

I recently hunted in Iowa with a buddy. While at the truck midday I noticed the wind was picking up and I didn’t have enough clothes. My buddy handed me this jacket out of the truck. After using his for the rest of the day I ordered myself one what a great product.

Bad ass.

Hard to not love. Stronger outer shell would be all I would change. Warmth to weight is superb. I've done this jacket with a fanatic hoody in 34° with a light breeze. Great hood too, can hear through it and it moves with you.

Amazing packable warm jacket!

I wore this last night on a Christmas light tour on a golf cart. It was in the 40's and windy along the bay front. I was shocked at how well it blocked the wind. I had jeans on so my legs got cold but my upper body was warm the entire time. It's also very comfortable and packable! Also for size, I am 6'5" 265 and the XLT fits great.

Best Piece

This is the best piece Sitka has to offer. Goes with everything. Highly recommend!!

The perfect layering jacket!

This is awesome. Great quality that you are known to expect from Sitka.

Ambient 100 Hooded Jacket

I ordered the large tall fit for my slender tall body type. The mid section is perfect in length but the sleeves are a tad long. However, the sleeves aren’t long enough to be a worry. Overall, I am satisfied with you how it fits to where I will be able to wear it in the future as well.

Ambient 100

I am 5’-9” and 165 lbs. l bought a large and the fit is perfect with a base layer under it. Will probably always be in my pack on archery elk hunts.

Great insulation or cool day outer layer

I have had this jacket for about a month, and I love it. When I first received it I was concerned about how light weight it was, but it is SO WARM so long as it is not windy. I wear it underneath a shell in windy conditions or stand alone down into the 40's and do not want for more warmth. Favorite Sitka product so far. 5'11" 190lbs. Large was perfect.

Top notch

Bought for my daughter. She loves it

Ambient 100

Great jacket for cool weather or a great layering tool

Once again Sitka does not

Once again Sitka does not disappoint. This hooded jacket is perfect for late season golf in the northeast! Gear for multiple sports!

It's a thinner light weight

It's a thinner light weight jacket, but surprisingly warm. It's super comfortable!

Prefect and true to size

Favorite material

Very comfortable and warm enough for the 60’s for us fl boys and yet still breathable

Warm

Unbelievably warm for its lightweight feel!

Quality check

Love the fabric. Had to go to XXL based on trying on a XL from a friend.

Love this jacket!

Got this jacket for afternoon sits on those warmer than normal afternoons during the rut. Even with wind blowing, this jacket kept me warm. Fits great, only complaint is it is a little shorter than I initially expected.

Excellent piece to add to the system!

The ambient jacket is a great jacket for those mid season cool mornings and it’s extremely packable for when it warms up!

Ambient 100 hooded jacket

Ordered a Medium and fit great.

I had the pullover camo

I had the pullover camo and thought I would try the full jacket. I use the jacket for traveling around Europe, as well as a base layer for Alpine skiing. This fabric is truly amazing for warmth to weight and wicking. Sitka…make a sleeping bag in this fabric!!

Ambient 100 hooded

my favorite hunting jacket. Want to get another one to wear going out

My new favorite light weight

My new favorite light weight jacket. Super warm interior material and soft comfortable exterior fabric. Can’t wait to get another one for casual wear.

Warm but not very durable

Keeps you nice and warm. Great for windy days. Stay away from anything that may snag or rip it. Zipper is also broke on it already so it's pretty much garbage now.

Great addition to the layers!

I have nothing bad to say about the jacket. It was purchased as an additional layer to my system for a cold winter elk hunt in NE Oregon. It performed as expected and added additional warmth during my long sittings. The fleece is soft and warm. It also brought me luck as I tagged out on day three.

Quality

Worth every penny

Best jacket ever

I got this for a friend because it is my favorite jacket and they needed one! He gives a great review!

Hooded Jacket

Fits well, nice jacket, little light weight.

Ambient 100 Hooded Jacket

Thought it would be somewhat heavier or thicker, if you hold it up you can see light through it. Definitely an early season coat or use it for layering.

Review

Fits well easy to pack into backpack
