Not your average hoodie

This isn’t your average hoodie. The DWR finish really makes this feel really durable. It’s thin and comfortable enough to be worn around camp or on warmer hunting days. But also has the grid fleece which allows it to become a great piece under other items like a Dakota Hoodie or delta wading jacket. Versatile and well made.

Absolutely crushed it with this one. Soft grid fleece in the inside, warm abrasion resistant exterior, this hoodie is legit. Sizing is perfect for your normal hoodie size.

Hood and Chest Pocket

At first, I didn’t like the hoodie because the hood is an odd shape and fit and there is no chest pocket. I use kangaroo pockets and chest pockets more than any other pockets for keys, wallet, phone, knives, matches, gloves, and ammo, so I prefer a good layout of pockets that can be secured. I like the color and layering the hoodie with another midweight synthetic or merino layer under it. It’s been good for the wind. It’s similar to a lighter weight Dakota Hoodie.

The fit and finish is top notch. The hoodie seems to run true to size. The Alpha hoodie is warm and has a good amount of wind protection, haven’t been in any rain or snow yet to test the water resistance. I wear this almost daily

Beyond expectations

The perfect piece for waterfowl hunting the Midwest. works great when setting decoys with the Dakota vest, and also as a mid layer on the really cold days under the duck oven. 100% recommend, just wish it was a little more water resistant but can’t have it all!

I really like how this keeps me warm without being restricted by tons of layers to stay warm.

Strange hood

This is one of my favorite hoodies but it has a hood that is just about unusable, especially when you wear a hat. The hood is very tight and has an egg shape to it, making it very awkward and uncomfortable. I still recommend the product and wear it daily around the house/running to the store, I just wish the hood was designed a little better. The materials and fit otherwise are what you’d expect from Sitka!

Ok Hoodie

This is a nice hoody overall. I like the fit with talls as an option. I honestly don’t find a use for it though. Material outside feels very durable but it’s loud. It’s also not something I would want to layer with. You’ll struggle to get anything under it other than a thin base layer. Otherwise the sleeves are very tight. I like my Ambient 100 hoodie much better they decided to discontinue. 🤷‍♂️

Great but stitching failed

Wore this twice on a hunting trip. I really liked it. Durable and cut the wind a little bit. When I washed it, the sewing stitching on the front was pealing and unthreading. I sent a request in but haven’t heard back.

Sweet fleece

The alpha fleece is perfect! You can wear it for just about anything occasion or situation. Work to hunting it’s extremely versatile. Super warm with just a t-shirt in 26 degree weather up to the mid 60’s. Another great product from Sitka

Exactly What I Needed

I've been wanting to get a non-cotton hoodie as a mid layer for my waterfowl set up. This hoodie allows me to go a bit heavier for colder days.

Quality product

Good well made piece, but not as quiet as I was expecting. Snug fit. Overall well made though.

The hoodie is a great base layer. Has a nice wool lining on the inside that keeps you warm.

My favorite hoodie

Best hoodie, hands down. I own several Sitka hoodies; Dakota, Gradient, Traverse, but this is the most comfortable hoodie out of all. Use it as a mid layer for duck hunting, casually to a family dinner, or dress it up for going out. You won’t find a better hoodie out there!

Alpha fleece hoodie

I've worn it twice so far and really like it. Heading in after the first hunt, I was sitting in the front of the boat, and was getting sprayed with water. It held up really well to the water and I never felt wet. The only thing I don't like is the zipper come up a little too high. If it was about 3" shorter it would be perfect

Great mid layer

Warm mid layer that i bought to run under the jetstream while deer hunting or DWj while duck hunting. Kept me warm by itself in 40 degrees. Also fairly windproof.
